Nice take off flies like its on rails and it follows the nose. Tough weather to maiden in so kudos for a pretty good flight. And yes she'll fly again. She dosent seem to like to glide much but a power lander for sure. Well done
Thank you so much and yes she felt so locked in and smooth through the banking. I just gotta lock in on the sink rate to throttle mix. Thanks for watching.
It can be my friend, but when you get them greasers man now that's intense. I recommend starting out with a 64mm i.e. eflites F15 or better yet a habu.
Nice looking bird, any damage on the landing? The flying spot didn't look to shabby, I like a hard surface landing strip over grass with my bigger jets, I do have a short approach and short runway in one spot I have to clear tall trees so I nose dive with flaps, then pull flaps if windy at about 10 feet off the ground and let it glide, there is a curve on the road I land so my roll out have to be somewhat short. Viper 70 is fun to land there. Good luck, and I can't wait to see more vids
Yes yes yes, I will be posting an update on the aftermath of that landing and of course more vids of me getting comfortable with her and then the three way race soon.
How about some hours on a highwinged trainer before showing lack of everything thats got anything to do with flying. Sad really to see such a nice plane trashed purely because of lack of skills/training.
Woah woah pump the brakes😲 it's a new bird and not all birds have the same flight characteristics. This one is the first other than my night radian that loves to chill in ground effect 🙃 also who is proficient in landing a bird between 80 to 120 yards plus down the strip? I actually consider myself a well rounded pilot, not an expert but slightly better than a intermediate pilot. Truth be told, I have about 40 plus planes, now do I have a favorite? Nope because I love them ALL and unfortunately I do not spend a whole lot of time as much as I would like to flying a favorite. Any who she was not destroyed, a little nose compression and very minor wing rash, but yes I should have landed her better, who doesn't want to have perfect landings all the time but hey 💩 happens so I am moving on. Happy landings. Oh do you have a futura video? Maybe I can learn something from you.
Oh by the way how can you compare a high with a low wing sport EDF? You can't. Again characteristics my boy. I fly 10 years on a high and it wont teach me squat on an EDF so come again sir, watch my F4 phantom and tell me how I did.
@@themadscientistg7804 Sorry but thats simply lack of basic flying skills, nothing to do with ground effect (which i know very well from +500 starts in full size gliders) and the finale showed all the signs of the result with overcompensation before it happened. Not meant to anything but showing you have room for improvement, was there myself some 30 years ago but theres many like you that doesnt get it because to go there you need loads of boring practice until you do the finale & especially flare in much more scale-look. No i dont do videos, i get my fun in a full motion twin-engine helicopter sim where cameras unfortunately arent allowed but there would surely be loads of scenes likes yours had there been ;-)
@@ChipMIK hmmm politely I beg to differ, so you have no vids, you fly full scale gliders, do you even have a EDF or a high wing trainer rc plane? So if your answer is right, yes I do and no I dont then this conversation is over. Look I appreciate you taking the time to watch our video and I'm not trying to come off as hostile or snotty, but if your not doing rc flying like I dont do full scale gliding then you cant speak upon my skill level just because you recognize a few issues with the way I flew the bird the same way I cant nor would I e or dare to tell you your business in a full scale glider agreed?
@@themadscientistg7804 Planes are all the same once you get the feel, but just enjoy what your doing, thats what its about, and rebuilding.Sorry, your too clever to teach anything. Enjoy your flying.
Thanks for showing the true side of rc flying.
Well what can I say, we are a real down to earth type of guys. I thought of going around one more time but my instincts to me no see I did my best.

Send it man!!!
Looks awesome! Can't wait to see the head to head or 3 way.
Oh yeah it's coming soon.
That was tense... which is why this 78 year old RC Pilot is not into EDFs. 😊

Man fly that thing excuses excuses😛👍
Just building anticipation 😜✈

Stay tuned for part two for a battle damage assessment folks. Will she fly again?
Yo yo yoooo howdy doody y'all?🤪
Probably not the best location to fly an edf of that size and speed.
It's actually not that bad at all, but I guess it's a personal preference thing. Thanks for watching.
