The daisy nails look great! Matcha tip- if you are using it to drink you want ceremonial grade. Culinary grade is for baking & more bitter. If it doesn’t say then it’s culinary & probably cheap. My fav is Matchabar. Looking forward to the sourdough project as I’m afraid to try it haha.

For the sourdough starter I would not sweat it, just follow the directions and you should be solid. It’s an already established dried starter and you are just reviving it so there isn’t much to mess up on. Also you definitely don’t have to change the temp in your home. It may take longer if it’s cooler or you can put it in your oven with the light on( this keeps it a nice temp for fermentation). Make sure not to turn the oven on while it’s inside though lol I have had my own starter for 2 years and have been baking sourdough since. I recently revived a dried starter to see how to do it and it only took about 4 days. Have fun with the process and give yourself grace. It’s a very traditional practice to make bread by hand and nourish yourself and others with it. 🥰

I work at a flower shop and I learned that if you tear all of the leaves off the stems of flowers before you put them in the water they will last longer- the leaves seep bacteria into the water

good luck on your sourdough journey, michelle! i started making sourdough this past february and it’s been so much fun!! making a starter was easier than i thought, and even though my first few loafs were a fail lol my loafs come out so amazing now and they’re great to share with fam&friends🤗

The Weck jar size that works for me is 743 3/4 mold off Amazon. I don’t use the clips or silicone ring since this gives the starter breathing room and lets the gas escape. You can store in fridge for a week between feedings btw!

A tip for sourdough measuring! Pre weigh the water & flour in separate bowls before combining :)

I used to be a chronic pimple popper but something that helped me stop was learning (warning … gross content ahead lol) when you pop pimples, obviously there is stuff that comes out the top which can be satisfying 🤪BUT the pressure of popping it forces some of the pus further under the skin and around where the blemish is which ends up causing MORE acne!

I understand so many people prefer plant based milks but (especially when giving to children) it’s better to buy them without all the seed oils! I follow a nutritionist that said in Silk there’s about 6 almonds in every serving the rest is additives and oils…. Making your own can be fun yet time consuming!

hi Kylie!! I use a produce wash from Trader Joe's, I only use it when my produce looks more dirty than normal (otherwise I just use water) 💗
