I’ll stream a movie on my iPad and when I select full screen it stops streaming the movie and says airplay not showing the movie because it’s using fast cast. But the movie isn’t shown at all unless it’s not on full screen mode. Help please
This only worked if my phone is held vertically. As soon as I try to view horizontal so that it fills up my TV, the whole thing just goes black. Several times it seemed to quit screen mirroring and I had to go back to my control panel and restart it on my phone. Doesn't work for me really.
It worked but it doesn’t work properly. 1 it glitches a lot 2. It does not play full screen 3. When using anything besides CZcams such as prime, Hulu, Netflix etc it doesn’t play. App sucks I do miss my android in this regard I never had issues casting through the firestick

I use a firetv app that is not paid right now I don't remember the name because I'm away from home; I've been using it for a long time and it's not a problem
Why do you say the iPhone won't work with the Fire TV? I got the Apple Airplay & home kit added to the Display & Sounds on my Fire TV and I was able to screen mirror my iPhone without downloading any app. I'm a little bit confused. Either way, this will help me if I want to do it on my fire stick. Great video
Appreciate the comment. I never tested on a Fire TV television so maybe the Display Mirroring shortcut works on those. I was referring to a Fire TV Stick and not a Fire TV television. Two different devices
Does this work with macbook pro? I want to use the fire stick as a way to wirelessly connect my windows or macbook laptop instead of using an hdmi or cable. I do coding a lot would that work?
Hi there, that's the first time I've heard of that issue. Did you try casting on another television? Could be a technical issue with one of your devices.
Hi there, mine displayed in Full Screen by default, is that not happening for you? There may be some display settings you can adjust but try using a different TV or monitor and see what happens.

It cast everything fine but when I went to play a video, every video I played is distorted

Yes I believe there are several articles/guides on this. Great idea for a future video. I'd suggest Google searching this in the meantime

Hi Colleen, have you tried casting using other devices? Typically it's a device issue with either your Firestick or phone.
