I mean, if the toad wanted to put olly and olivia on their thrones in the diorama as tribute, he would have done it before the festival started, right?
He probably didn't put them on there because he knows that they're gone.
There's no way that the toad just decided last minute, when the festival is OVER to add those two on their thrones, unless he was informed of their safety.

There wasn't any secret ending. It's the same no matter the percentage completion, other than the 100% message.
