I have these exact tyres on my 120. I got them in November 2020, and have done at least 40,000 KMs if not more. It's my daily driver and my family's main car, used for everything from groceries to camping/holidays and I still have around 10mm of Tred. I can't remember the exact price, but I waited for a "buy 3 get 1 free" deal, so I got a set of 4 for around $750. Great tyres.
Love mine. Handle beautifully. Fitted them to my MY21.75 2022 Ford Everest I went from factory 265/60R18 to LT275/65R18 (+40 mm OD) which fixed the speedo to read exactly. My cost ended up around $425 each for 5. New have 14mm of tread.
Fantastic tyre - most importantly, they perform on the road and on wet roads with braking and cornering tests proving they are the first true ALL terrain
I’ve had my wild peaks for 25000km, absolutely love them, I’ve done Fraser, the mereenie loop as well as the plenty highway in them, not a single problem. The only thing I haven’t loved is the outer edges of the tread do trap clay/thick mud, but in saying that they aren’t a mud tyre
Yep. We run these too. Good tyres. Been happy with them off road. 35000 done so far. Deciding factor at the time was could replace all 5 for same or less than 4 BFGs. Now all 5 are on the rotation schedule.
Haven't been happy with the quality of my BFGs for a while. Sidewall started coming apart and BFG told me to live with it. I eventually got them to replace the tyres but they wear out so quick, not sure why I bothered. You're selling me on these ones. Looking at the comments too, they seem to be the go. Cheers bud. Love ya work.
HI Antony I have both the Falkens and KO2s. The KO2s def looks the bees knees but the Falkens outperform them in tar and dirt/sand/ maybe even mud. Quiet as f too and seems to wear better. Not sure about durability as both are still in good shape after several trips.
Brand new they have 14mm (I have a brand new spare) and my mains iv done 70k on and they still all have 7mm left. They ain't as cheap as they used to be now though but quality never is. Have taken mine through some real tough terrain and never been stuck, they do like to lose traction in the wet and on gravel though I have a feeling that's more the car than the tyres!!! Will buy again once worn out, I rekon ill see 100k out of these.
i run them on my 120 Prado and they're a good all round tyre , I've got 25000km on them and they look like new. they make a 50psi and a 80psi version in the 265/65r17 116t xl is 50psi max and 120/117s is 80psi max so check what is best for you.
I have the original BFG AT ko tires on my Jeep still. The original Ko came with 18/32” of tread depth. When the Ko2 came out I noticed immediately that the tread depth was not as deep. I looked up the specs on the bfg website. Sure enough. Only come with 15/32”! So annoying. BFG would argue the rubber compound on the new Ko2 is more durable than the original Ko. So they “should “ last longer. But that still doesn’t fix the fact the tires have less tread depth no does it. Very disappointing. And bfg Ko2 are notorious to balance without using a lot of tire weights. I like many other will most likely be switching to the falken wildpeaks. Bfg get ur heads out your arse. Stop over charging. And give us tires we a decent tread depth. It makes no sense to buy the bfg when you can get these and do 40k and have the same tread depth! Thanks for making this video guys. Educate the masses.

Nice looking vehicle 👌👍✌️😎🇦🇺, Falken WILDPEAK AT3W, 13.5mm tread depth from new 👌. Bargain price tyre with awesome results 😀

I’ve got Mickey Thompson Baja Atzp3. Done 55k at least 11mm left. Just goes to show there’s plenty of choices out there 💯👍
Nice review mate I assume falcon handle better on wer weather compared to a bfg
