Brett Gardner 2011 Stolen Bases (49)

Brett Gardner swiped a whopping 49 bases in 2011 (40 steals of 2nd base, 9 of third base), and finished the season tied with Coco Crisp of the Oakland A's for the most stolen bases in the American League. Additionally, Gardner and Crisp tied for second in stolen bases for the entire MLB in 2011.
Gardner stole 49 bases in 62 attempts, which was good for a 79% success rate (higher than the league success rate of 72% in 2011).
NOTE: The stolen base that shows Eduardo Nunez was part of a double steal in which Gardner took second.. the TV camera focused on Nunez and not Gardner (presumably because Nunez was the lead runner).
