That was a lot of recoveries for Matt to not run out of gas.
Hahaha - true that 🤣🤣🤣
Suspicious
Probably has secondary tank they are a good add to any off-road rig on long runs with no gas stops
He cheated, was in 2WD for a couple of them.
Someone should make a sign "days since we've run out of gas" that you can fill in
"People and their trash". Yep, me to... hate it when morons can't bring their trash back.
Kudos to Matt for picking it up.
...or when they overestimate the abilities of their stupid heavy trucks on sand.
The army would not even drive a 8x8 there unless pressing tactical reasons force them to. (and they have multiple vehicles to pull each other out)
Sure, the never ending supply of idiots is good for business - but man.. i would be embarassed to hell and back if i got caught with a totally unsuitable car on sand-dunes like that.
...and then even with trailers behind them... what the hell were they thinking? Its like pulling a plow through a field. Better get a tractor for that.
@@jdcoverland365 The irony of reading a sign like that in China
Sad.. lots of trash by those trucks 4:23. How hard is it to throw that crap in the bed man? That's part of the reason we lose places like this..
Ever notice its the people who drive their trucks into places where they have 0% chance on making it are also the ones who leave shit everywhere!
Calvin & Hobbes: "The best evidence that there is intelligent life in the universe is that none of them have tried to contact us."
"It's just the right and polite thing to do" -Matt The world is a better place with you and your crew in it.
and just imagine the tow bill??? they did not do this for free...
Wow...absolutely amazing! My Jeep died in my company's parking garage and I had to call a tow truck to take it to a shop 15 miles away....it cost me $300. I can't imagine how much a 4 hour drive to recover a stuck vehicle would cost!
Matt out here giving away ropes and shackles and spending his father's day helping others. True legend 🤘. Proud to be a fan!
Amen, brother.
I'm sure he can afford it with overca million subscribers.
@@njsongwriter yet channels with millions more do 'sweepstakes' style giveaways for a single large-ticket item, whilst matt gives away shirts, ropes, free tows, search and rescue missions, and his holidays. never once has he exploited his kids for content or gone out of his way to use his audience as a weapon or gotten into silly-ass drama. it's not about how 'easy' it is for him to give away the stuff, it's the fact that he does. look @ anyone else with the kind of money you're making assumptions about and you'll see that they don't even make any ATTEMPT at helping others. just themselves.
@@njsongwriter A million subs don't make you a Rich man. Depends on how many ways you are milking the channel.
@@zacharylemley9027 Well said. What struck me about this video is how the heck would those seven - or at least the last five that didn't call MORR - have gotten out if Matt and Paul had not happened along? Those were tough pulls and pretty technical, so most other rigs would have just buried themselves in the sand if they tried to help. I sure hope the lake fills up again.
I don’t understand how people think they can take these stock rigs loaded to the gills, with a 30’ travel trailer, into the soft sand and then get out on their own. Matt you may be making recovery so easy that people near you have lost all sense of caution.
@Jack Yeah, that sugar sand. Been there and been stuck. Just one wrong move.
Some of those campers amazed me, Overloaded on dry ground much less the sand.
On the other hand, I was also surprised by the adventure van, I thought that would be fine.
Not to mention over inflated tyres
@@JimsEquipmentShed Too high tire pressure and ESP cutting engine power was probably what stopped the van. These vans can do more than we have seen.
@@petrnemecek4379 Yep, and you can turn off the traction control but if you don't know the correct procedure to do so, it just come back on it's own lol
This is the best thing on screen. You deserve a reality show, but don't change a thing. No false drama needed. Love this channel
Oh no please not on TV with corporate heads at the helm!
Here they are their own boss, as it should be.
Less than 60 seconds into this video and I could tell this is an (A) Class Family with a real father and strong mother. The son's are hopelessly headed toward being good men also so we can expect another generation of Good Neighbors from this bunch!
I agree. I recently watched a video on another channel where a dad was driving very scenic trails in Colorado with his two kids in the vehicle. Kid in the back seat had her face buried in a tablet playing games for the whole video, and kid in the front seat was also playing games on a tablet and periodically mugging and making faces at the camera while dad was describing something about the trail. I don't think either one of them ever looked out the window. The contrast between those two kids and the kids I see on Matt and Paul's channels was like night and day. Good kids come from good parents.
The FJ and the Morvair working together, that was sweet to see !
You are killing it guys !
yeah, i love the teamwork and camraderie we get to see on the channel - and the morvair is a masterpiece.
Cant wait for the heavy build to complete...

Yup. He seems like a pretty solid guy.

A great role model. I was wondering if they got paid. Let's see, $100 each would be $700.
Only seems fair.
Hi, Belgium here, lived in AZ, Phoenix valley for 15 years and MISS it big time. I found your channel a few days ago and have been binge watching since then.
Have you thought about asking the trailer owners to empty their water tank before pulling them? It would save thousands of pounds...
Love, love, love this channel and you people are the salt of the earth. God bless you Matt and family and all that work together with you.
The true dynamic rope duo back in action. Proving once again that all heroes don't wear capes. Love watching Matt & Paul go at it whether it's some solid recoveries like these or next level 4WD action. You guys just make it look so easy. Kinda fun way to spend fathers day & as usual Matt & Paul spreading the love by helping others in need.
Led me to think
if Matt and Paul are anything like my dad, getting to spend the day using the specialty tools they built for the purpose they were built for, helping people... sounds like a pretty good father's day:)
Sure… “tool”. Don’t kid yourself, every dad likes to play with the toys he built himself.

Matt you’re getting pretty good at this recovery stuff. Maybe one day you’ll be able to do this full time for a living :)

Matt left Father’s Day to help people stuck out in the desert for a few days. Totally love this family/this channel. I need to move to Utah lol.
Giving the crew off for father's day, taking your family crew along with Paul and family. Helping people out when they needed it and do extra helping in my book you Matt and Paul are awesome. Blessings to you both.
I love when the MORRVAIR sand blasted that truck. You guys are so amazing with all the service you perform to help people in need. It's truly awesome to witness.
Matt was in a great mood in this video, just super happy and relaxed while he did his job all in a laid back style making it look super easy... Much different than his earlier videos, much more serious-like in the banana
I know exactly where that particular area is. I use to drive my 25 foot sailboat around that lone rock near the stuck trucks. So sad to see it gone after all these years. Damn drought !!
the entire west US is running out of water, its not just a drought
@@RobboElRobbo it's the beggining of the end

well then you are not part of the problem and i retract my comment with regards to you. but everyone else there can pound salt.
These guys came out the day after this and saved us after we had been trying for hours. It’s not in the video but they were nothing but awesome. They had every right to be angry because that has just gotten home, but they were great. Very kind very professional and just a cool group of people. They will have fans for life due to there kindness.
That’s awesome. I was just thinking how crazy would it be to get stuck then see Matt’s recovery pull up lol
who was angry? what happened, all i saw was smiles on the video
@@darse7029 you have the reading comprehension of a fruit fly.
Ya who was angry? Not a single person is angry in this video...all smiles, so what are you talking about
Do they charge for recoveries?
What a good bunch of people! The last couple of years have been difficult for many people, so it’s nice to see all the good people on this channel, THANKS TO MATTS OFF ROAD RECOVERY!
"The right and the polite thing to do".........sounds like it needs to be on a shirt or a bumper sticker; for sure in everyone's vocabulary.
Things wouldn't be so difficult if everyone were good people helping each other. That's what being an American is supposed to be all about.
Every video reminds me how much I miss rural Utah. For 30 years I’ve lived in the Valley of the sun and you and Fab Rats are a constant reminder that what makes Utah home is the people. Thanks for reminding me how crappy my life is! 😉
You all are awesome. I cannot even begin to think how lucky we were given all the places we took our motor home. Thankfully we never needed a toe out except when intended tended for safety. You guys rock
listen, having your son drive and getting trailer pulling exp (which im sure he has plenty of) and letting Jamie ride shotgun and giving your whole crew time off says all you need to know. keep being an awsome example Matt.
If I was ever to be stuck, that would be the most awesome team to have come rescue..Matt and Paul
What a great way to spend Father's Day. Helping others out on a special day. Always love seeing you and Paul working together.
That second recovery actually looked really cool with the two trucks backing up in different directions.
Great job gang!
1. Thank you for picking up the trash!
2. About scanning for others who might need help: "It's the right and polite thing to do." Yes, I wish more people lived by this motto.
Happy Father's Day!
Doesn't hurt that it makes for a terrific video too!
The most amazing part isnt the generosity of matt, it isnt the amount of recoveries, its that matt didnt rin out of gas!
Love Paul's FJ. He's tackled some crazy obstacles in it with ease.
Gotta love all these “4x4’s” that get stuck so easily. They don’t think they need anything after it leaves the lot.
Matt is so very generous and helpful. Glad to see Paul out there he is too.
Matt's secret is that he genuinely just wants to get out there and help people. Give him $1 million dollars, and he'll just build an even better recovery rig, and use the rest to help his friends. I think that's why we're all following along.
Also I follow this from the Netherlands ! Nice people !
Someone helping another out of a hole is one thing . When you cart all that machinery , with your family , and friends , to help others out , that's commitment . 👴♥️
LOL
Most people follow along because it’s entertaining. Just like everything else on the internet
@@Bullshittt It is so much more than entertaining as they are always there to Help people. like 7 on father's day! Awesome work Matt, family and team and friends!!!
My favorite CZcams channel at the moment. Y’all are some kind humans and I hope nothing but the best for y’all
I'd like to see this every father's day. What an awesome gift.
For those of us old enough to remember, 1972-5, you could walk to lone rock it was so dry. 1985 was a great year with water up to the parking lot at Lone Rock Campground.
Doesn't fit the narrative. History denied
Team work makes the dream work ! Hanging with your best bud and family on Father’s Day doing what you love… helping people in need! As always, enjoyed the episode! 👍👍👍
Love the way y'all work together ! Great job and thanks for helping these campers !
WoW that first recovery was awesome and the tandem recoveries are unreal, you guys make it look easy! mad props to u and Paul and your fam! for sharing and for doing what u do.
I kind of burned out watching all your back catalog and then you were pumping stuff out, a while back. So glad to see your whole family, this is gonna get me rehooked. Love you and your wife together, just puts a smile on my face/reminds me of my wife and I.
Pretty soon lake Powell will just be dry desert and you won’t have to drive all that way and miss your Lobster dinner anymore!
Fake news!
Plant trees.. saplings....do a mass plantation with volunteers around the source like which fills the lake...like catchment area. Lake powell will come back to life in 5 to 8 years.
I'd hate to live out there and see that happening to such a popular place but like, Arizona was never meant for corn either
You just need everyone to buy an EV, stop driving your SUVs & trucks, celebrities and politicians stop flying private jets and bam lake filled and global warming over😂
@@johnsnyder1046 buy a horse.
Well done recovery and family! I can’t imagine being stuck out there and this hero family comes out of nowhere, gives you a shirt, and maybe a rope!
Hey Matt and Family, I swung in on Father’s Day to check out your place and saw you guys loading up to come get these guys out!
Awesome to see such good people out just helping others!
Happy Father’s Day!
I remember riding my ATV downhill on a fire road through deep packed snow in the high California mountains, it was fun until I hit the stream and discovered that my quad immediately dug in and sank in the deep snow when I needed power to climb out of the stream. It took me hours of winching it from tree to tree on the road bank to get out alive, I was all alone and could have easily died in the mountains that night. I learned to never ride downhill again in low traction conditions because you may never get back up out of it. Thank God for my Warn winch and some beers that got me through a terrible rainstorm and poor decision making that day.
Y'all remind me of my grandfather, but with him, it was snow. He got so excited when it snowed, because that meant he could go out and pull out all the stuck people. He loved that.
wow..mad & paul the king of recovery, amazingly great 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Pretty selfless way to spend father's day. Thanks to both of you for being a role model for future generations!
That turned out to be a busy Father's Day! But Matt and Paul couldn't just drive off and leave people stuck! Good job to Matt and Paul's families for 7 recoveries!
In 2020 I seen one of Matts videos at Lone Rock Beach Lake Powell. I took my wife and we camped their for a week straight. It was amazing boating around Lone Rock and sleeping on the beach. I will never forget it. It makes me so sad it was the last time the water was high enough to boat around Lone Rock. We caught so many fish and had the time of our lives. A few crazy storms. It was such an adventure. God bless!!
I remember the yearly tractor and truck pulls coming to town when i was a kid, wishing i could do that. Now I wish i could do this on a daily basis. Love watching you all do your thing . Thanks Matt and Paul and family.
Family and friends, and a willingness to drive amazing distances to help others - that's what it is all about!
Just wanna take the time to say that this is currently one of my favorite CZcams channels. Kind, Hard working people helping others on a daily basis and making quality content out of it. *Thank you to the whole MORR Team!*

I’m glad to see someone that knows how to secure a vehicle on a trailer by cross tieing it.
Man, I love seeing Fab Rats and MORR teaming up! I hope I get to meet you guys someday. I was thinking maybe heading your way this summer, but the cost of fuel is more than I can afford right now.
I love that you were able to make a fun day of your father’s day and special time with your family! Fab Rats too! Luv your YODA!
Paul’s FJ has some serious nutz! Impressed as always gents.
Been there in my SUV, glad I didnt need to call you. Got some locals to guide me thru and give tips, and was able to do it!
Wow... it's been 30 years since I have been out to Lake Powell and Kanab Utah. Definitely looks different now. I just found your channel today and I really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing
Its funny to see these heavy trucks and trailers out in the soft sand. In spite of having an "off-road" super duty 4x4, I'm always terrified of getting it and my trailer stuck. I have no desire to pay Matt to drive all the way to Tooele County to get me unstuck.
Happy Father’s Day Matt and Paul ! Spent your Father’s Day helping others, you guys are the best. Bless you all.
I grew up going to Powell for my family vacations and we always went to Lone Rock and then out to Cookie Jar. So sad to see the lake so low like that. Thanks for being good people and great examples.
A Corvair Station Wagon body???? That is so cool. Fun video. Reminds me of my Salt River days in Arizona.
Family that tows together, stays together. Love the content guys, thank you.
Matt, Paul, and family members, your generosity and kind ways are what this world needs more of right now. Thanks for your great example of how we all should treat one another.
That was impressive guys, great job on Fathers days, you made a lot of dads happy today! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
Can’t believe the boys were able to get that Corvette out

That is an unbelievable amount of horsepower required to pull those campers out. You and Paul built some awesome rigs.
Love that you stuck around and helped others! ♥️♥️♥️
Nice way to help out people when in need, great job done and congrat's to all of your family, Happy Fathers Day indeed.
Wow! First to you guys and amazing assistance for the folks! 👍👍
2nd wow! To these stuck folks taking these huge rigs out to these areas with their families, completely solo and no one to help.... 👎

Do you think Colin will want to follow in Rudy’s footsteps and be a big part of the recoveries?
Hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day dinner!! ❤️🐞
I LOVE that these guys are killing it with views. You ever notice how many views the channel gets compared to channel with 5x the subs. Matt's the best!
I can not wait until you get the big boy done so I can see All The work you all put in this progress.
Good job can't believe these people try to pull this heavy rigs across that sand Good thing Matt's there to save the day

That looked like a great Father’s Day!!!
Mat is being cute
Though there r late, he still finds some rocks to climb on to enjoy life as his family is there.

Man seeing Lake Powell like this is really crushing. I got a chance to visit back in 08/09ish and it was still a nice full lake back then. It was such a beautiful lake, I hope it gets a chance to recover.
Such a treat seeing the two of y'all working well together to help folks.
Should have been a July 4th video because this is the most unbelievably American thing I've seen outside of a BucEes gas station. Drive around in a huge 4x4 helping people get unstuck, just be friendly and polite and oh, don't forget to hand out T-shirts.
God Bless America.
It's crazy. With all the recoverys like this, I don't think I have ever seen a windshield break "knock on wood" you guys are awesome, keep up the great work
Always great stuff when you two get together with your families especially helping all those poor straned folks
My next order of recovery ropes an shackles wil be through you, you had me sold when you gave away the rope after you cut his strap, and the soft shackles for the guy who loved em... you got a heart of gold Matt 💛 your certified in my book!
I’ve done this a million times, but usually with a come-along:
0. (Optional) jack up and put wood under tires
1. Connect come along to frame of rescue car and frame of stuck car
2. Straighten out wheels on both vehicles
3. Put rescue and stuck in drive and start cranking come along. If rescue slides back apply brakes.
This works real good when you only have 10-20 feet to go to get out
Happy Fathers Day to Matt and Paul. That was an amazing display of kindness. You do the rescue you were called out for and then drive around and see who else needs help. Those last 3 or 4 truck and trailers were never going to get out of their situations without the 2 train effort of Paul and Matt. What are people thinking?
You folks are good people.

I can not figure why some people with four wheel drive vehicles think they can go any where not alone pulling a mini mobile home behind them and not expect to get stuck. in sand to boot. Oh well money well spent pretty sure they will not be doing that again.
