What's AMAZING to me is how Romano does 20 weighted dead hang pull-ups w/45 extra lbs so easily. He's just repping them out like body weight. That's insane.
I mean 220lbsx20 on bench is doable. Also, I've done my fair share of widowmaker 20 rep squats. So 264x20 is doable too. But at 230lbs, I can do 8-10 controlled dead hang bodyweight pull-ups on a good day. So imagining trying to do 20 with added weight makes me cringe.
+Ryan Deffley But he doesn't weigh as much you do and i don't think he did them all in a row(can't tell because of the editing). His pull up form was very good, the bodybuilder's wasn't. Bodybuilder let his chest expand too much, so he couldn't utilize his arms as much as the powerlifter did with his form.
well to me is amazing also how Romano does 20 reps with 100 kg bench press.. I mean look at that shit he just have done it like it was warm up... 10 seconds and it was over.... damn!
+Daniel Jakac - Yeah AWESOME determination on Romano's bench. He was in the zone w/that intensity. But any decent strength athlete can rep out 225lbs on bench relatively easily. So that's why 220x20 isn't that extraordinary IMO.
But I think this video is a great example of size vs strength. The bodybuilder is bigger/looks jacked. But he was struggling to hit ten consecutive on bench and squat. I've always preferred powerlifting for strength and athletic performance training for fitness over body building. Bodybuilding tends to be about size for show.

Auch wenn ich es auf der einen Seite toll finde, dass ihr vermutlich ein breiteres Publikum erreichen wollt und deshalb englisch sprecht, finde ich es auf der anderen Seite doch auch sehr lächerlich wenn da jeder mit einem sau starken deutschen Akzent in die Kamera lallt
wäre vielleicht angenehmer fürs deutsche publikum aber international gehts meiner meinung nach nur mit englisch (auch wenns schlecht ist)

These challenges are not only very well conceived and directed, but the spirit that can be perceived is very good. I mean, you can really feel the competition and everybody is playing to win, but these guys are all about encouraging themselves and having everyone to get to the end. In a sense, everybody is a winner. Please, keep up this awesome work!

***** Ich finde, "Keep going" ist schon ein gutes Motto, aber wenn es vorher jemand so oft verwendet hat, dass derjenige schon damit in Verbindung gebracht wird, ist das auch blöd... Aber ihre Kleidung ist wirklich sehr ideenlos. +colin arkae oh yeah no doubt about it, but most common powerlifting relies on short bursts of energy with their training but in his case he killed it the whole challenge
Trent james exactly. This guy knows what he’s talking about. Usually in a competition of reps a bodybuilder should be able to out rep a power lifter being that it’s a common weight median. However the power lifter easily has the advantage on a one rep max.

Man kann von den ProBro Jungs denken was man will, aber.. respektable Leistung von Patrick!! Muss wirklich sagen, dass er sich gut geschlagen hat. Zu Romano ist nicht viel zu sagen.. er ist eben ein echter Sportsmann und die Übungen waren wohl eine leichte Aufwärmübung für ihn :)

one calisthetic exercise,
one isolation and
one wild card
that way, everyone can compete and no one is better off than the other,
last last three have been geared towards the winners
make it fair and it will be more exciting to watch, otherwise you already know who will win from the start.

Das warten hat sich gelohnt, ich dachte nicht das Romano bei 120kg Kniebeugen so struggled aber war das vielleicht um es spannender zu machen damit er nicht gleich gewinnt ?! :) Auch beim letzen Rep Pull ups hat er sich richtig zeit gelassen, mehr als nötig meiner Meinung. Trotzdem mega unterhaltsam freu mich schon auf Mischa. Nur bitte wieder auf Deutsch, die Leute können einfach nicht fliesend englisch und es kommt einfach viel authentischer wenn die deutsch reden und somit ist der englische Untertitel auch authentischer. Objektive Kritik :) Love this channel!!
