- After what I deemed to be a fair go at the rear window we have gone side now.
It went ok, but needed another hand, although after a few comments on the rear I think I can do the side loading door solo. I THINK!
Its quite daunting to me, but guess what's the worst that can happen?
Hope your enjoying and if your new to my channel, Hello👋🏻, and hopefully you'll wanna stick around .
Thanks again - Jak na to + styl
Hi Liam I a newb.....but Ive watched loads of your garden room transformations... Just wanted to say firstly I'm really sorry for your loss. Its really difficult being in a dark place, just keep talking to your loved ones as hard as it can be, it will help you.. Secondly you are an inspiration your charity is truly amazing. Thank you for all the help you have given to people less fortunate in life.... I'm sure you're Dad is watching over you and is so proud of you... Keep you head high Liam

Nice work pal. Don't beat yourself up about any extra timber, it's been a tough time. Really appreciate your work both in garden sheds and vans 👍💪
Good job, nice to try something new every now and then 👍.
Nice job Liam, Like your style mate ,can't wait for the next one. Take care buddy. All the best...
The man who will not be beaten….by anything! Keep it up mate!
What a genuine bloke Liam is brilliant idea with the van 👍🏻
Great to see your honesty and approach to the jobs. Gives me confidence to have a go myself. The way you are editing these videos and showing issues and your solutions is excellent. Keep up the good work
Progressing well, buddy. Great work 👍
Nothing more intuitive than a tutorial from Liam 👌🏻 Cheers pal. 100,000 k subs here we come.!
Really enjoying this mate , have always fancied the idea of converting my van but probs haven't got the confidence. Having seen most of your other vids I reckon the finished product will be spot on . Excellent stuff .
Good morning Liam and the team❤❤❤❤❤
My bro introduced me to your vids when we built his garden office and now I’m absolutely loving the camper content… smart move and I hope you hit 100k subs very quickly. I really appreciate how you don’t skip over the problem areas (like the window frame) and edit in a perfect job done on first attempt… showing you too experience all the same frustrations we all have with DIY. Keep going!
Bro….🤦🏼
@@jonnygunner65 I do apologise… my blood-related ‘brother’.
Great vids. Appreciate the effort. Really enjoying the garden room and camper van content.👍
Thanks mate
Liam mate it's always good to step out of your comfort zone and try new things and of course you a4e smashing it all the same.
Take care matey 👍🏼
Loving the videos. A fellow Yorkshireman👍🏻👌🏼
Totally different person on your own. Cant wait to see the finished product
Something different to the norm.keep them coming please Liam 👍🏼
Quite nice to see you move at a leisurely pace, after all that’s what campervaning is all about. Great content, Hope you enjoy the experience 👍
I’m liking it a lot, atm
One of those "it won't take me long" jobs, Turns out to be a fiddly one. Glad to see you got it in ok 👍
Great video, really enjoying this build.... it will probably do you the world of good working at a slower pace. Keep up the good work pal 👍🏻
Great to see a normal bloke show and explain how to do these jobs. Love your content Liam. With the garden rooms and van conversion
Thank you , had a bit of negativity, but surly new content is a good thing?
I’ve been showing how we build, I’m now in the shoes of most my audience and trying to do something I’ve absolutely no idea how to do.
you can buy that window trim on Amazon in different sizes and colours should you need it, but seemed to go on quite well in the end anyway.
Enjoying this series Liam 👏🏼
Quality nice to see everything problems also, keep up the good work very inspiring , good how you stay calm when come against a challenge and just find a way forward , looking forward to see how this pans out, don't think I would ever do one as I've found the garden room a big enough test of my skills
I’ve no idea how this will pan out, let’s see
Loving these van conversion videos bud. I’m a chippy by trade and hoping to do my own van conversion in the next couple of years so I’ll be watching all these 😁
Keep up the good work 👍🏼👏🏼
Thanks mate
keep up the good work buddy. Oakwood Camper vans incoming!!!
Starting to take shape liam mate
You’re fierce hard on yourself. On the one hand that’s not a surprise as you can see that manifest in the standard of work you produce day-in day-out. On the other hand, give yourself a break, ffs.
Really liking this van series.
It's nice to see you moving at a slow pace, not rushing things, learning as you are going shopping how to do things
But what really bought a smile to my face was not when you said you had to just man up and pull those support panels a bit harder 🤣, was when you said to your daughter "I've put Windows in the back" because, like my kids and probably everyone else kids too, they don't realise how much work goes into making it look like you've done nothing at all 😁
They have no idea
@@thegardenroomguru also, glad there are no leaks, not that I was expecting any 😁
Yeah top video keep it up fella.
Cheers lad 👍🏻
Great series, hope you show us some nice interior joinery down the line 😀
It’ll happen
Liam, just a bit more advice of how we overcome the large gap between the two panels, yes there is larger knock on trim available but it looks terrible, if you take a Stanley blade you can cut through the sealant between the two panels, pull this out and your two metal panels will come together easier and allow the trim to knock on much easier, again this is just our method. There is also an option when you come to trim around the windows, we use a 4 way stretch carpet which will fit into all the recesses, you can then pull the trim off completely and there will be enough of a gap to trim the carpet around the metal cut out and hide the edge behind the window.
Nice one mate, makes sense
👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧⭐️⭐️🍺🍺👏👏 well done buddy it’s a struggle on your own you Done well
I've never done it before, I've watched before and I think a lot of people but the seal on the inside skin when you bond the window it pushes up against the seal so you can't see the outside skin cut area? Great video though mate look like your enjoying ot which is the main thing
Liam keep up the great work. Don’t listen to the haters who don’t even qualify to open your toolbox let alone comment on your work. Big respect to you and can’t wait for next vid 💪
Pop some small rivets in to pull the panels together mate on the other side 👍🏻
Oakwood Garden Room & Van Conversions. 😁
Nice job buddy, if you had cut another inch of outer and inner panels, the seal would have just slipped on, did a few myself
Good to know mate
Hi mate just watched your video, really good to see the problems you had and how to get around them. What adhesive did you use for the window?
Cheers
Quick question, will c16 or c24 6x2 doubled up span 4.4 m?

Hey Liam good job what about putting up a amazon wishlist to help you with the build just a thought 🤔
Is that a thing ? 👀
Yea if you have an amazon account you can add wishlist and then share the link on here I would be happy to contribute
Hi Liam what ever happened to the crafter conversation did you get it finished
Cammy
sold it mate, head wasn't in a good place and it was depressing me more
Should there be more metal left around the edge of the opening?
Hi Liberty
From what I’ve watched it’s pretty standard mate, unless someone can say different. 🤷♂️

nooo dont put a blade in there !! that master bond is very quick drying once it is you cannot remove it hence putting a blade in there will scratch the body and ultimately rust wil start
"...know idea"..?
?
Stick to building garden rooms much more interesting
I basically said the same and got absolutely slated for it
Stick to garden rooms mate
That’s one seriously dumb comment, mate? Seriously 🙄
I think your doing a fantastic job 👍👍
We are not all experts in everything, put a video up mate of you doing something out of your comfort zone and let us all judge you.
Top work Liam everyday is a learning day
So this is the problem of society of today no one is allowed to have an opinion if it so calls offends people he's bloody good at garden rooms and personally think he should stick to doing them
@@robertkeable9217 the problem is, people like to beat others down , intentionally or subconsciously, do what most people do, don’t like, unsubscribe, don’t like, don’t watch, don’t like, don’t comment.
