I watched this when it very first aired. It was just as AWESOME then as it is today.
Concert was held in NY and recorded to be aired on TV at a later date. Lots of People along with a fair amount of Celebrities. Having a good ol time. Singing, Dancing, Screaming, Crying, Jumping up and down etc.
Sadly within a matter of hours the World as they knew it was all going to change. The next day was 9/11/2001.
Michael did have an appointment at the Twin Towers on 9/11. Missed his appointment due to oversleeping. He was up late talking to his Mom and Sister after the Concert.
I remember watching this on TV when it first aired and being riveted. Whatever someone's other feelings about Michael Jackson, nobody can deny he was wildly talented and the sort of artist you simply couldn't take your eyes off of when he was performing.

MJ was incredibly talented. Saw the Jackson’s during their Victory tour at Neyland stadium in 1984. Awesome. Yeah I’m an old phuker. Wore out his “Off The Wall” album. Still have both on vinyl and cassette.

It looks like MJ literally pulled everyone in the crowd out of their seats, solely through the strength of his performance, truly legendary. If anoyne in that venue stayed in their seat, they are either dead on the inside, or dead on the outside, as in actually deceased. If there were any paraplegics in the crowd, even they would've gotten up and grooved lol. That's right, i said it, MJ's performances could literally perform miracles...possibly lol. Well anyways, MJ is the GOAT, and he was world-class in whatever he did as an entertainer, whether it be singing, dancing, or whatever.

@jado4prez there were a couple of songs elvis did co-write, and at times on stage elvis would change song lyrics when singing in front of an audience, whether he forgot the lyrics and repeated a extra verse or just being fun on stage
