Gru is a very great father to girls in the movie. In the first movie Gru was a villain but when the girls came in to his life they helped him from being bad to good. And that is a great character development for Gru, and this is awesome.

Gru was preparing for COVID before it was even a thing.
Also a little fun fact about the PX-41 serum antidote: The people couldn’t decide and argued about whether the Jelly itself was the antidote or putting the antidote in the jelly. They ended up going with putting the Antidote in the jelly.
Personally, I prefer the sequel slightly more than the first one, I don't know why, I just do. I really enjoyed your reaction to the film Nick and you're such an awesome guy and never stop being yourself mate! ;)

Yeah, the sequel is more vibrant, has that nice storyline, and I would say character dynamics.

“Happy” is my favorite Pharrell Williams song. I remember I was on the Carnival Cruise Ship, and they played this song when the waiters were putting on a show, and danced for the people that were eating in the kitchen that night. I got to dance with the waiters of course. It was a lot of fun.

My favourite joke in the movie has to be Margo asking Gru which actor he looks like and Gru says Bruce Willis and Margo has a beat and says "Ummm, no.", with Agnes suggesting "Humpty Dumpty!"and Edith yelling "Gollum!"
El Macho has the most badass intro(and exit)ever!

I thought this film was enjoyable. I know this series has gotten a bad rep after the second film, but the sequel was, while not perfect or as fresh as the first one, was funny, heartfelt, and breezy.
Despite the fact that I remember the original more, due to the fact that everything worked well in it (message, humor, motivations ...), the sequel revealed the characters well and, in general, expanded the universe of Despicable Me.
Alrighty, This arguably has to be Illuminations Best work, they did really good with the Despicable Me series... I'm glad you decided to watch the movies
The villian is definitely a weak point of the movie but mainly because its pretty much a side plot to the main story which is Gru getting over his fears and developing a relationship with Lucy
I like this sequel to Despicable Me, it’s a nice follow up to the first film in my honest opinion.🙂

Love watching your reactions Nick, especially animation reactions (particularly the traditional 2d movies), as I can really see your love and enthusiasm shine threw on such things. I loved this movie, but I also really loved Lucy. She's a great character and straight away you could tell, with her quirky behavior and flair for dramatics, that she would be a great match for Gru and his girls. I also always love how Gru can be awkward, but when you threaten the ppl he loves, he becomes super kick arse.
One of my favorite jokes is when they find out it’s just salsa then cuts away. When it cuts back they are just eating it lol

Good thing El Macho didn't take the serum when he was still in shape. If he had, not even a nuke could've stopped him.

I remember the time when I first knew about this film. I was nine years old when this happened and I had no idea that they were gonna make a sequel until I saw the teaser before The Lorax that showed the Minions singing.
Despicable Me 2 is my favorite Despicable Me film!😃 Agnes is just the cutest thing ever in this movie!❤ She's my favorite character in this movie franchise!❤
