My moms friend was a choreographer for britney for a second and told us she literally brought snacks and shit in a Walmart bag and was vibing with everyone in the back and had 0 ego basically which was so cool to hear. Like she would just talk to random people who wanted apparently and just chill with the workers during her shoots and concerts and all that
The way you can laugh at your cringey moments is charming. Sharing how much you’ve learned from your past shows a lot of maturity and growth. I enjoyed these stories a lot!

OMG, my experience with Britney was almost the same. Lots of don’ts from the security team, but actually in my case it was a little bit different. She noticed that I speak English and started a small talk asking me what song I was most excited to see on the show, she remembered she had one of the biggest crowd on her Oops tour here and asked me what was my favorite song of hers, I said Autumn Goodbye and she looked puzzled. I thought she didn’t remember recording this song or something. Then she asked her assistant if Brazil got that version of the album, she replied no and then I explained to her that I bought in Australia when I went there on vacation, but I also had the Brazilian version. She smiled and said “I get it now”. I never thought she would hold a conversation with me, not in a million years. My impression of her was that she is indeed very shy, if you don’t pay attention you can hardly hear her as she speaks very softly. But I noticed the fan behind me was very agitated and when interacting with him, she seemed a little scared (IDK). I confess it was hard to keep my cool but in the end it payed it off. The poor guy behind me crying just took the photo (sobbing) and left, with almost no interaction with her. But till this day I’m trying to understand her reaction with him. It was almost like she was as uncomfortable as the dude was making a scene. He was not violent or anything, he was just very emotional and excited at the same time, who knows what triggered that reaction on her?

Fans who act crazy by crying and screaming in front of her are the fans who scare her the most. She doesn’t want to meet people like that, they give her anxiety and panic.
She just wants a normal interaction and a normal conversation.

I met Gary Oldman. I can’t even remember what year it was. He was at a concert. My friend was in one of the bands. No photos because cell phones with cameras weren’t a thing back then. I didn’t take a camera, I was just going to see my friend perform. (He knew how much I loved Gary Oldman. I guess my friend asked permission because it seemed like he expected me.) My friend was like I want you to meet someone very special, come with me. I just froze when I saw him. I honestly didn’t know what to say. I have social anxiety anyway. Then I just babbled. I told him that Immortal Beloved is one one my favorites because my dad is a band director and classical music was such an important part of my life. His performance was “devastatingly beautiful”. I’m still so embarrassed about it. But still glad I got to meet him. He was such a gentleman, very quiet, polite and gracious.

I have seen a few videos on meeting celebrities and they all said Kendall and Kylie are kind of rude lol. I'm glad Britney was sweet! I can only imagine what she's been through so I'm glad she can rest and only tour if she feels like it one day.

It's completely fine if celebrities doesn't want to interact with their fans on their free time. They deserve some space. But when it's advertised as Meet&Greet and people pay money for it (it's not a raffle or anything), you better give them what they paid for. (It would be fine if it's already mentioned that Meet&Greet means no interactions with celebrities only a photo with them, but then most people wouldn't pay extra for basically no extra benefit).
As a person that used to work in venues, the ones who left me stunned were BTS. Their whole team are so respectful and while I had no actual one-on-one interaction with members themselves, they still seemed to give the best version of themselves no matter how shitty their day might be. Professional and polite on another level.

I love Avril, and I feel terrible that she got Lyme disease, but I feel like that near death experience really changed her perspective on her fans. Like I feel like it took all her so called close famous friends to leave her when she was bed-ridden and notice how her fans were the ones still there. Sorry for the traumatic experience there. The one that shocked me the most was Demi, because I’ve heard pretty good things outside of “delete it fat”, maybe it was an off day there. And I’m definitely not surprised Taylor is the best with her fans because duh.

I remember back then in 2017 when the Avril's Meet and Greet's photos was just a shock for everyone... I even remember that that was such a polemic event that Avril actually had to come over and apologize and give her side of the story, I think she was sick or something, that's why she didn't get so close to people

this was a super interesting video! I completely understand seeing some celebs in the wild and they aren't having it but I can't wrap my head around the ones where they do meet & greets and the fans feel completely awkward. I wouldn't want someone to be fake but sometimes for your job, you have to be professional. (especially with the Avril & Kendall stories). Fans are the thing that keep celebs famous, if you can't be warm with them, it's not cool.
I never felt that this is a 30 min video. This is fun. I am following you in your podcast too. I hope you will post a twin podcast like this in your podcast as well since this is very entertaining to listen to, during commutes or when you’re just doing things and have no time to watch videos. You’re a goal getter, such an inspiration.

I met Bo Burnham on a comedy tour he did in 2011 and went to the stage door to meet him afterwards. He was cool but very very awkward about the whole thing, and this other girl who was there was fully trying to sleep with him so the whole thing was super uncomfy.

This is so cool! I actually think Taylor Swift seems to be the sweetest human being ever. I also heard Demi was rude very often. I believe she still needs time to get better. She's been dealing with a lot. I personally would love to meet someone from the Euphoria cast like Zendaya, Sydney sweeney or Jacob elordi.

I've met a few celebrities, but the best (or actually most unique) one is actually "meeting" Taylor in 2010.
I say that it's unique because all I have to show for that experience is her autograph, that I got just because I was the tallest among the people there and just... went for it, reached over everyone else and got it, because she was out for like, less than a minute.
Ok, picture this: it's 2010, you are an Italian high-schooler that literally learned English through Taylor's first 2 albums and a friend of yours, the only other person you know of that speaks English well enough to enjoy Taylor's lyrics, asks you to please go with her to Milan (4 hour drive from where I lived) because Taylor will be at the X Factor Italy studios to promote Mine.
So we plan, we skip school, we go there and there's literally less than 30 people there. NO ONE in Italy has any idea who she is and it's just us.
She was not expecting any fans to be there so I guess we have to thank the security guard that maybe let her know that there were people outside. Anyway, she comes out and she was SO SURPRISED. I will never forget her face 🤣.
She was out for like two minutes and couldn't believe that she had fans here.
FYI. On July 13th the eras tour will be coming to Milan. First time she sets foot here IN 13 YEARS. And guess who doesn't have tickets? Me.e.EH!

I got a free ticket to one of Demi’s concerts when I was like 12 or 13. I didn’t get to meet her but I got her manager to get me her autograph. I’m kind of happy I didn’t meet her now tbh 😭

I met Marina after her show in Atl in 2019 and she was so amazing and nice. She wore a denim top with white capris pants and coincidentally I had a denim shirt and white shorts. She walked over to me with a big smile and popped the color on my shirt and said “oh my gosh we’re twins tonight.” She was the sweetest and even offered to take another selfie bc I was shaking so much😂

Marina and Charli sound so on brand for them. Both seem so candid and kind, i love that they're exactly how they show themselves publicly. Demi doesn't surprise me AT ALL. She was rude on twitter to a fan that was rightfully complaining about the meet and greet situation. And the Britney story is so heartbreaking but I'm glad she's free now.

I met Daniel Radcliffe at a tumblr sponsored screening of that romcom he did and he was THE NICEST person. We chatted about football for a sec even though I know nothing about it (lol) I’m from Buffalo and he had been on Jimmy Kimmel’s show talking about how he’s an NFL fan and he loves how passionate Bills fans are. I mentioned that I was from Buffalo and he got so excited and said that he sends his love to the Bills fans lol it was wholesome.

i was so shocked by your Avril story, cause i just saw a post on facebook of a guy who met Avril in the streets 4 years ago and he said she even asked her staff to hold the albums she autographed so the pen ink wouldn't borrow (idk how to say this in english), and in the pictures she even hugged him... I think Avril really has some personality disorder, sometimes she seems very nice but other times she seems like she wants to be dead lmao even her smile changes a lot
Back then Avril was actually sick but didn't know with what so she didn't want to touch or get too close to other people because she was afraid of infecting them or something.
It turned out that she was suffering from lyme disease. That's why she was so pale in photos and in her videos.
English word for ink “borrowing” onto other paper or material is to “bleed” (morbid, isn’t it? But it does make sense, like when you get an injury and the blood gets on your clothing)

i loved marina during the the family jewels and electra heart eras. i knew a lot of people who loved froot, but personally i felt like it was kind of a flop. however, she seems like such a sweet person and i'm glad you had a pleasant interaction!

I think Ellie Goulding is just not especially nice/ polite in general. I used to work at the Mandarin in London as a front office trainee and the two times I spoke to her, she was super arrogant, not saying hello or thank you to anybody and speaking in a very commanding tone. Which one really doesn't need to do at those kind of hotels, as everyone is already so eager to do everything they can for every guest (no matter who they are). To be so condescending and downright rude to hotel/ service staff is just gross.
