I admit, I have not heard of some of these groups. However, that does not mean I do not like what I am hearing. Diversification is paramount. Haters will always hate! However, we do not need to add credence to their beliefs. No award given to any group is insignificant. I haven't found that NCT 127 dominated the international scene in 2024, NCT 127 are still very popular but I haven't heard much about their comeback in 2024. That's a great point! EXO is definitely a powerhouse in K-Pop, and their influence is undeniable. BTS really did take things to a whole new level though, bringing K-Pop to a global audience.
Even though all members (except Jin who has completed military service) are currently serving their country, they're still #1, army's will continue to keep them there until they return in 2025.

BTS left a ton of content. They are in military service, but they left comebacks and audiovisual and promotional content. BTS exceeds the standards of K-pop. They function as a brand, and everyone consumes it

That's a great point! EXO is definitely a powerhouse in K-Pop, and their influence is undeniable. BTS really did take things to a whole new level though, bringing K-Pop to a global audience.
Even though all members (except Jin who has completed military service) are currently serving their country, they're still #1, army's will continue to keep them there until they return in 2025.

Officially, Jin's position within BTS is listed as vocalist, not sub-vocalist.
However, the lines can be blurry between vocalist and sub-vocalist in K-Pop groups. In some earlier BTS songs, Jin may have had fewer lines than other vocalists, which led some fans to unofficially categorize him as a sub-vocalist.
But over time, Jin's vocal skills have grown and he's received more lines in recent releases. So, it's safe to say he's firmly a vocalist in BTS.

@@CaitlinClarkIsBoss I’m not really a fan of Kpop so it’s no negativity to other groups but I really love anything BTS does. Txt is the only other group I will not fast forward through. I’ve tried listening to other groups but it just doesn’t resonate with me. There are certain solo singers I really like besides anyone in BTS such as K.Will, and the one who sang the theme song for The Goblin, Chen?, The Gak artist, Kim Tae Woo, and some others but not idol groups.🤷🏾♀️
