    Canadian productions in the 80s and 90s have a certain feel to them. The “feeling” to me is reminiscent of the Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High era. And a little bit Today’s Special. Love this channel!

    Jim Carrey was ahead of his pending mega-fame in '81. Rubberface didn't even register on the Canadian horizon until long after Carrey hit it big-time on 'In Living Color'. Jim was smart enough to get out of the socialist state of Canada and make it happen in America. Well played Mr. Carrey.

    That's the first time I've seen this. Not surprising that he was funny from very early on. This reminds me of another early glimpse of Jim Carrey I came across several years ago...his interview with Brian Linehan, another special person, by the way, that might interest you.
