There are several regulations regarding drone use in Vienna. From what I've read, drones weighing less than 250g and flying at or below 30 meters have fewer restrictions. However, please check the specific regulations for your drone and intended flight area with Austro Control. They have a dedicated page for drones in English www.dronespace.at/en
Hi Grete! I've been watching a lot of your videos and they are very informative and helpful. I do have a question about timed tickets--does the Vienna Pass work for places that require timed tickets? If not, does that mean we need to purchase separate tickets?
For certain attractions, timed tickets are required prior to your visit. At Schönbrunn and the Hofburg (Sisi Museum), tickets must be picked up at the Group Service Center / ticket counter (please refer to 04:59). For other sights such as the UNO City or the Opera, advance booking via their respective websites is necessary. Yes, if you scan your Vienna Pass for the first time at an Hop on Hop Off bus, it will activate your Vienna Pass.

Hello Grete! Thank you for your videos, they are very helpful! I just have one question, do you get the same experience, time to explore, and overall everything the same during the time in the museum comparing the Vienna pass and a bought ticket from the office website?
At most attractions, the Vienna Pass grants you the same experience as regular tickets bought directly at the sight. I would advise you to check in advance on the Vienna Pass website under "Sights" to see exactly which ticket is included. For example, at Schönbrunn, you get admission to the "State Apartments," which is a highlight tour. If you wish to see the "Grand Tour" with all the rooms of the palace, you would have to pay extra for that.

It varies depending on the attraction. For Schönbrunn, for instance, you'll need to purchase a regular ticket for the "Grand Tour." if you want to see all the rooms. You can do this either on-site at the ticket counter or through their website (I recommend the latter, as it allows you to select your time slot in advance).

If you want to see a lot it can be a good option. I recommend, to plan what you want to see and then check if the pass is worth it for you. Enjoy your time in Vienna!

Can I buy the Vienna pass at the airport?
There isn't a Vienna Pass Shop or Service Center at the airport. However, you can purchase the Vienna Pass online in advance through the Vienna Pass website bit.ly/grete-vienna-pass-DE You have the flexibility to buy it either before your trip or upon arrival at the Vienna airport (where free WiFi is available). The validity period of your Vienna Pass begins only when you first use it.
Can i buy the vienna pass at 19 years of age for 42 euros on the website online ???
Though it says upto 18 years of age , can i risk it by buying the 42 eur card for 1 day ?
Discounts apply only to children up to 18 years old.
