- The Best Trio in Japan Volleyball History | Yuji Nishida, Yuki Ishikawa & Ran Takahashi. The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association.
Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.
Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese left-handed volleyball player. Currently Nishida plays for Panasonic Panthers at club level.
Nishida made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakai. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's Starting 6,[5] as well as Japan men's national volleyball team. Nishida led the national team to seventh place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, its best result 29 years.
Ran Takahashi (髙橋 藍 or たかはしらん, Takahashi Ran, born 2 September 2001) is a Japanese male volleyball player and an Olympian. He plays as an Outside Hitter for Nippon Sport Science University's club,[1] Japan men's national volleyball team and Vero Volley Monza.
Yūki Ishikawa (石川祐希, Ishikawa Yūki, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture.
Ishikawa is the first volleyball player to have a wax figure in Japan. Currently, his wax figure is displayed at Madame Tussauds Tokyo.

Honestly, Team Japan makes me think that they are the characters of Haikyu.. from the spiker, the setter, the blocker, the libero, the ace server. They really have it all 😍 ❤️

Miyaura gets 136 points in this vnl and nishida gets 134, yes miyaura is great but nishida is still got his value.
I think Kento Miyaura will have to make a name for himself alone.
These three are already established as the "Trio", and it would be weird to suddenly include him to make them "Quad" or something.
It is just so sad that Kento Miyaura was not included in the national team as the same time as the "Trio", he was only been in the Senior's National Team for 2 years (2021).
So I think that he will have to shine alone rather than be included in a group like these three. Or, he would have to wait for the other members to be grouped with him.
Kento Miyaura is my favorite and I am just so happy that he was recognized this season. I think that the recognition he received is just enough.
I don't want him to become overrated or overhyped.,
But, I want him to be credited for the things he contributed for the success of the Japanese Team.
He is getting tons of spotlight. But the Trio is the Trio.
I think miyaura is Good But Not as Good as Nishida (who was Injuried during VNL) because nishida has Similar points But in all Matches accept for One better efficiency

The way Ran just flies in the air from the back is insane. He just levitates in the air and still has time to strike like that.
Not only a strong trio, 😊the Japan team also has a sensitive setter, middle blockers, freeman, and bench players. All are the best I haven't seen before.

I`m kinda new to volleyball especially in Pro teams and all about them.
Now i was wondering, in comparison to Ishikawa and Takahashi, Nishida wasnt hitting as much as they were.
Was it just a bad game for Yuji or is that the way its supposed to be?
I feel like with my little to none knowledge, Nishida is crazy at spiking and would definetely make a lot of points.
Anyways love Volleyball im really getting into it. ^^
