Full Nuts:
A standard hexagon nut is referred to as a full nut. They are the most popular form of nut and come in a broad range of sizes, grades, finishes, and thread types.
Wing Nuts:
A nut that is designed to be tightened by hand with only finger pressure. Wingnuts are also known as Mickey Mouse nuts because the two wings are said to resemble the Disney character's ears.
Nyloc Nuts:
Nyloc nuts have a nylon collar in the top of the nut that locks the nut in place by squeezing the bolt threads as the nut is tightened. The friction created keeps the nut from loosening.
