@@MrDaiseymayif you have a hole that the screw is not threading, spin a thin metal wire around the screw threads and re-attach. The screw should now bite into the hole. No need to upsize the screw for a hole that is too large.

One metre of insulation sleeving will allow you to puff the dust out of the hole and not get it in your face.
What about mounting tvs
It will hold stronger than a plastic anchor
