I recognise several of that crew lol. Nice to see the good lady and I agree whilst im happy to see the new suite finally arrive I've never been that bothered by the older CW seat.
Oh that's cool. they were a really nice friendly crew. Yeah to be I still really enjoy being in any seat apart from economy, so i'm not being fussy.
I never sleep on flights either! Almost was up for 2 days straight during a few long haul flights.
Looks to have been a great flight overall James, thanks for sharing your experience. The catering looks to have stepped up a notch or two as well. I don`t mind the old Club World seats as much as many seem to, but it will be great to see the new product rolled out across the fleet. I`m glad I`m not the only one who can`t sleep on a flight, even in business class!!
Yeah it was enjoyable, anything beats being crushed in economy on a flight this long and the price we paid was really good, just a tad more that the premium economy price.
I'm looking forward to all the new seats coming in.

That seat looked horrible like a claustrophobic toilet cubicle , and as for sitting backwards that’s a definite no no can’t even do that on a train ! The food looked good though 👍
I guess i'm just used to the BA seats, so its not so bad for me, still not the best product in the world, but still a nice experience.

That 2-2-2 (or is it 2-3-2 can't remember)is still a poor BC no matter how great the service is (and I'll admit I've had some great service on BA).
True, when compared to other airlines, but I hope to see the fleet updated with the new seats soon.
Nice...I flew BA from BOS to HRW, en route to Shannon just this past February and rode in Business Class, because why not. The “British beef” was absolutely FATAL. I wanted more! 😋 Slept like a baby for about four hours; my ears “woke “ me up; we were descending into London..the stewardesses were kind and courteous to a fault, the flight reasonably smooth, and I would do it again if I had to ; next time, though, I think I’d fly directly into Shannon. Good trip! I also appreciate your style of vlogging, no unnecessary chatter, just the highlights of the trip and glimpses of your happy faces! 😊
I hope you had a good flight with them, though Aer Lingus would be a nice experience in business for BOS-SNN.

Those views coming in to land were pretty special James. That’s what makes the window seats so worthwhile. A quirky cabin layout, pleased it was comfortable though. 👍 Hope you and your wife had a great flight.
Yeah I got super lucky, the other side was just ocean so I had no clue I picked the right side.
It was nice to be in the mini business class cabin, I can certainly suggest it, a lot nicer than the main cabin.
It was a great flight, a bit choppy for the last 4 hours, but that's pretty normal in that area.
Hoping to fly Air NZ soon, want to try the PE product with them.

When I Travel The World thanks 😆 there for 10 days, got a house right next to the beach, so I can just walk across a road and I’m there, I’m staying on the west side of the island 😄 is it as beautiful as people say it is?
It is pretty stunning, and the west side has wonderful views. You will really enjoy it.
Now the only bit we were a tiny bit disappointed with, but it is an island in the middle of nowhere, so we fully understood.
But the food...Well lets just say it reminded me a lot of pub food.
When I Travel The World, yeah and I’m thinking of bringing my drone to get some aerial photos of the west side of the seychelles😆, and yeah the food, because they will have to import all of it from different countries around the world, hope I will enjoy, there’s a coral reef just on the beach so I can go snorkelling, gotta watch out for stone fish though lol😂
Yeah we tried to find food items made in the country, was pretty much water, sparking water and beer all made at one place.
Most of the food was imported from Europe and Singapore/Malaysia we found, but we still really enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful place, I hope you are going to check out some of the other islands. Be warned the ferry's are choppy.

Funny, I was returning back to Montreal from the UK 3 weeks ago and also watched the same movie on board as you did. My review was the same as yours: an awful remake. What a wonderful destination to to heading to. I visited many times during my adolescence when my family lived in the nearby region. Hope you and your missus had a great time.
Yeah I don't often watch movies on planes, mainly because i'm filming and enjoying the experience, but I don't mind a film from my younger days, well I was 12 when it came out, but it did not do the original film justice.
We did indeed have a wonderful time there, very nice place.

Hi James, hope you are well and a really good review. I just can't get excited with flying with BA any more(Too many bad experiences). I used to fly with them on a regular basis. I just find them dated and they haven't caught up with Qatar, Emirates, Cathay Pacific & even VA. They used to be ranked number 1 airline in 2006, now they don't even make the top ten. On a positive note, the roast beef did look good. Stay safe and good travels..
Nice review. I wish BA would utilize the mood lighting on the 787 in all classes for a more dynamic experience but the product was really good

Looked a lovely trip on BA and if my memory serves me correct I think I’ve been into a brew dog type bar in camden a couple of years back with the wife . It was a nice trip, I also filmed the return which I will upload. The beer's great for flights, very fruity so you can actually taste it and not too hoppy.

When I Travel The World Yes sure like that , as I said if you know your going up town and can give us say a months notice then no issues at all . With Margaret’s business so busy and I’m on a 7 day week it’s been tough last few weeks . We booked Kuala Lumpur holiday for next year aswell but I’ll decide who I fly with later on . Ritz Carlton we booked for 10

KL is an interesting place, Its really made out of Concrete.
If i was you I would fly down to SIN for a few days as to me 10 days in KL is a long time.
When I Travel The World I’ve actually thought about doing just that , leave the hotel as it is and just grab and over night bag and cheap flight return for a couple off nights sounds a great idea . I’ll look a little into it and any advice on area in Singapore or other stuff would be a great help as your an adventurer lol
Yeah I would certainly do that if you have never been to Singapore.
Fun part is you can buy cheap business class flights on the KUL-SIN route to make it more fun.
As Singapore is so very small, I would probably stay near the downtown area, raffles, Marina bay etc.
If you are just going for a short trip that will put you central enough to visit all the sites in a day or two.
I don’t want to sound too negative, but I’m wondering if this type of vlog is really sustainable in the medium or long term. The whole story, and the images followed a very predictable format that you’ve used before and which a year or so ago I really enjoyed, but now just didn’t capture my attention.
There’ll always be aviation nuts who’ll watch anything, but for me I think I’ve seen enough for now. Thanks for the journey.
Sure thing, no problem at all, This format is fairly slow paced I understand that, I do mix it up, the next one is with a voice over.
I just like to present the journey and not make it a Vlog as I don't want it to be about me, more about the product.
I certainly understand that my style is not to everyone's taste, but thank you for the feedback and comment and watching them.
While I understand what your saying John I'm from the other angle. I hate the other reviewers that prattle on (often their voices just not suited for commentary) when I just want to see the product. Those with subtitles I find much more informative.
I guess it comes down to your reasons for watching them. Personally, when I'm scouting out my next holiday, even across the same airline, I try to find the exact route I'm going to book, on the exact type of aircraft I'm going to be flying on. That's where channels like this come in handy. They aren't vlogs - they are examples of specific services on specific aircraft on specific routes; rather than watching a similar route and assuming you'll get something similar.

So i did, I'm thinking that its probably Do & Co, but I have never seen a DO & CO truck at LHR, so might just be driven around by gate gourmet.

But the food handed between the two seats is never great. I hope that BA will put the new seats on most aircraft by 2022.

first time in a while a decent flight report of BA business class, for a while been v poor from BA, seems they have upped their act in all parts of of service especially.
I agree, it had been over a year since I last flew them in club world and so many things are better.
1.The bedding has improved all around
2.The nuts are now nut just served in a packet.
3.Better meal options
4.Seemed like the wine list had improved.
Now all BA need to do is put the new seats in all the aircraft.

AAhh that sound at take off thrust !! Magnificent !! Cannot stand it when my nuts are warm !! I could not work out why your entree came from the front of the seat and your main came from the aisle ?? How did your companion go flying back wards ?? Cannot beat a cheese plate on a British or French Carrier...they do know how to make good cheese !! Glad to know I am not the only one who struggles to sleep on aircraft even in Business Class with all the trimmings!! Most excellent review on what looked like a great flight !! Well done mate and enjoy paradise !!
Its always great to hear that sound on take off, such a wonderful noise.
So the illusion here is that i'm the one facing backwards, all the BA window seats face backwards but the aisle seats face forwards.
I always enjoy the cheese plates on airlines, its nice to make comparisons, and yeah i can't sleep on anything in motion, car, plane, train, boat i'm always that person who is wide away unless i'm in bed with total silence.

I've experienced this, and I have to say for a free upgrade from world traveller plus, it's okay to mediocre, what isn't good is that if you are sat in an aisle seat, and you want to get up, you usually find your passenger on the left and right are using their foot stool, which means you have to ask them to put their legs down so that you can get past ! A very bad design feature. Would I pay £1000 extra return for the privilege ? I don't think it is worth it personally.
Yes its a very dated seat, but BA knows this, nothing has really changed on them since 2000.
But thankfully new seats are starting to now creep in. First 777 refitted yesterday.
Late. Is BA getting better? It looks that way. Funny to see a comment "old" associated with a plane which to me is very modern, so it must be me that's getting old.
Karl P it's the old BC seat and format that they have used for at least ten years. While most other airlines moved to a 1-2-1 seating pattern 5+ years ago BA has stuck to this until recently (last six months) when they finally released a new product
Though I would say BA have started to improve, first the soft products improvements, then if they can put the new seats in all planes by 2022 or something that would be amazing.
Wow! That looks really horrible. You look like you're hiding in a room under someone's stairs and your food is being served through a serving hatch in a 1970's English seaside B&B. Hope you didn't pay much for the flight.

I have yet to figure out how you flyers can eat so much, I would have to leave out half the stuff. Of course I am an old person.

احببت ان أشارككم هالموضوع الذي حقيقة تعرضت للنصب فيه من شركة كلوب وورلد ولها عدة فروع وتم التواصل معي من تلفون ارضي من الرياض وجوالات سعوديه وحساب بنكي بالأهلي السعودي وتم عرض علي عروض كثيره من ضمنها خصومات على الطيران من 20% الى 30% عن طريق موظفه مصريه اسمها شيماء من الرياض وتم عرض انك تحصل على خصومات لكل حجز فندق بالعالم لنفس الخصم وعلى جميع خطوط الطيران وتذاكر وليالي مجانيه ودخول صالات VIP وبعد ان دفعت 1600 دولار تواصلت معي موظفه اسمها مروه ثم حولتني لموظف اخر اسمه هشام ولكن عندما طلبت منهم حجز طيران ذكروا انه لا يشمل العرض وعندما ذهبت الى صاله VIP لدخولها تم رفض بطاقتهم تواصلت معهم جميعاً وكل واحد يرميني على الثاني طلعت الشغله نصب في نصب وهنا احببت اذكر لكم تجربتي حتى لا تقعوا في مثل هذه المخططات المشبوهه ..
والمشكله انها بالسعوديه انتبهووووووو الله يحفظ الجميع ..
I am sorry but you are no comparison to Sam Chui who interacts with crew, talks to us as to your written comments which difficult to read when we looking at what you are filming !!!
I suggest be more interactive with both your viewers and crew in future . I found your trips extremely boring and always 1st class . We also need views on Economy as that is where the bulk of us sit . First is a dream for most of us ! Where you get the money from to travel the upper is beyond me ?!?!
