    So Does a clinical pharmacologist do any lab work with the drug to improve the ways it can be taken by patients? Or does the clinical pharmacologist only do the modeling and then gives the data back to other scientists to improve the drug?

      The job you're saying fits more into a pharmacometrics, yes not really needed for such a person to do clinical experiments.
