- Robin returns to the channel today with a list of what she considers to be my 10 best outfits ever. If you're looking for some outfit ideas, a few easy ways for how to instantly look more stylish and put together, or for some classic over 40 style (I'm actually 42), Robin thinks these looks will serve as some good inspiration. It'll pay to stick around until the end of the video as well, as she throws in a handful of some of my WORST outfits ever as well. It's going to be fun. Enjoy.

No, we need more men in men's fashion. Because it seems women tend to choose the most basic stuff for men. don't believe me? ask a girlfriend to buy you something vs asking your mates. Yes, you might get a boxer with naked women on it with your mates...but it will be more exciting! lol!

Haha. Yes, I was a bicycle racer so I didn't have a lot of bulk in my upper body. Focused on building lean muscle now. Thanks for noticing!
Your wife complementing you on wearing waistcoats inspired me to take one of my own from my closet and wear it today “just because”. Tell you wife “thank you”. 😃

Great getting a woman’s view on the outfits. Have to agree with the “bad” ones, a 1920’s theme I can’t work with, and cricket jumpers are banned from my wardrobe, but lots of quality choices on the “good” ones. A really enjoyable vid, thanks for putting together.

That was so enjoyable! I think it says a lot that Robin picked quite a few photos from the time when you first met. I agree with nearly all she said, it's impressive how much she knows about men's style as well. Guess that just comes along when you're married to a style icon! :P Also, good to see your own journey in men's style recaptured here. Although I have to say that the seersucker look is crazy cool! ;) Striped shirts with a white collar do tend to look all Wall Street, but you're one of the few people I know who can really pull 'em off casually. @@hespokestyle Hi, Brian, shoes... don't know what's going on with me and shoes, but I can't get enough of them, my wife goes nuts, when I say I might buy another pair, e.g. loafers, need for the summer colors need to match off course, same for oxfords, and Derbys, never mind the boots, plus materials suedes, Peccary and mixes... how do you keep your wardrobe to a manageable size, like getting good use of the things we/I buy but sometimes it's hard to see the wood for the trees... just so food for thought buddy

I just started watching your videos on CZcams, and I must say, they’re much more enjoyable than the other channels. Some of them are annoying and just not my cup of tea. Loved the first two looks and the suede jacket with jeans. Very Pitti Uomo. But I was constantly distracted by the current look with the grey pinstripe suit jacket, turtleneck and what seams like selvedge denim jeans. Stunning outfit especially the pinstripe jacket. Looking to replicate the look.

- i also like the outfit you have on for this video. and imho, i think there are a lot of nicer, elevated looks you did that Robin missed out in this video.

#1 is a very American styling for a suit; #3 looks good because it's the perfect definition of semi-formal or formal-casual - it's the patch pockets on the jacket adding the casual element; #4 looks amazing, very English, which suits your look/build; #5 looks 'summer in Venice' combating that Mediterranean heat; # 6 and 7 are amazing looks, #7 looks like the jeans drape better, the tight fitting pants on #6 make your legs look too skinny; #10 looks great, the cut suits you.

I like many of the looks in your videos. I'm more comfortable in more traditional colors and styles. My challenge is that I live in Texas and the heat and humidity make wearing suits or layered clothing almost impossible.
I think Brian's skin tone also helps with his look. I'm very pale, no natural color and don't tan easily.

I remember one of my worst looks. I felt creative and put together a look wearing a suit and recieved the comment that it looked "Urban Amish."
I had to fake the confidence to get through the night🙄
Robin is right that some outfits dont work with a beard bigger than scruff.
Having a beard completely changes how you dress and makes things a little difficult but I love the assecory of a beard when wearing classic looks like a simple white t-shirt and jeans.

It’s funny, the grey three-piece suit looks like such a “2013 made to measure suit” the shoulder, the vest with the high top button stances, the choice of pattern etc. This was the era where everyone was doing 42 measurements at your home and having it made in Asia.
I like how you can be hypercritical of yourself during a trial and error/experimental phase. Your style now is much less costumey. That gives me hope. Well done.

I like the blue sports coat in the 1st and 3rd look but the button stance in way too high should be brought down about and 1.5 inches for balance. Overall some really great looks on this video. Bang up job!

The pants were the issue on my first custom suit as well! What is it, lol? It takes some time with the tailor to get the fit right for the pants, but once they get the measurements perfected...custom is great. Any tips on this?
