It was deeply time for me to go back to colourful hair!
And of course, my first colour needed to be purple because it's my favourite colour.
In this video, I show the first time ever of how I bleach my dark brown hair to blond and then add the purple.
But I have to mention this: I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL Colourist or Hairdresser all my experience are based on self tries when I was in my early 20s.
Bleaching can horribly go wrong I once burned my hair and here on CZcams you will find lots of videos of bleaching horror stories, btw I can feel with all of them, haha. Anyways I hope to entertain you with my new video.

@@marie-louferland6433 aw thank you... i honestley about the fact to end with bleaching the roots but to do it alone by your own is super hard. I mean to leave the roots "blank" and bleach them in the end.. I know this technique will bring perfect results :) So i will try it for my next bleaching session...i think with shorter hair it will be easier to use this technique :)
Your hair is so nice and thick, I love it! Also, the "patchy" purple for the first coloring session looks really cool on its own :)

Girl everything about you is pretty and aesthetic, the hair matches really good on you, I’ve been trying to do light purple but for some reason it’s only grabbing the blue parts of the dye since I mixed it with two colors

you had a very similar journey to when I had lilac hair, I ended up dying it dark violet and then it faded over time to the pastel purple. Anyone wanting these colours with natural dark hair should be warned that it takes a lot of effort to start!
April Williams true! Thats why you pay 800€-1000€ at a professional for full colourfull hair as a natural dark hair person 👍🏻
I hope that happens to me. I got my hair bleached/colored at a salon in Japan from black to a 6 or 7 orangey-blond color, then dyed to dark purple. But ideally I'd like pastel purple (but they said it would require a second bleach session).

Hello, sorry for asking a stupid question, but do we need to wash the bleach 'with' shampoo if we are heading to the colouring session right after it? or just wash it off with cold water? do we need to blow dry then?

Thank you 💕 First i bleached my hair till they were bright enough to show up the coloures i used. Directions in my experience are very high pigmented but almost eveyone i kno mix it with conditioner to brighten the colour itself. So i did the same thats why i had to use the toner several times in the beginning i mixed the toner a lil bit to bright, and in the end i almost used more toner than conditioner to make the pigments more visible.. i hope this answers your question 😘

My hair is literally the same lenght as yours, i am bleaching it next week, and dying it blue to neutralize the orange color that i know my hair will turn out because i dyed my hair black some months ago. Your hair looks amazing, did it damage a lot? Because it looks so healthy.
Blue and purple a good ways to neutralize orange or yellow 👍🏻👍🏻 my hair was still okay, a lil bit dry but nothing else was different. I already had some bleaching nighmares but not this time ☺️🤗

So I bleached part of my hair and well it's copper my hair is really dark black so I tried it. I have Virgin hair I'm not mad about the copper, but like I would like it as like a whole head thing because the roots faded into the copper I liked it alot but I want my hair lighter so I can do pink and purple. So maybe I'll bleach tomorrow and see what happens, maybe after letting the bleach set for awhile I'll do the roots next.

What color did u use for the last session
The oil is after, if you u put oil before, the purple color doesn't dye well. This applies to any color and bleach u want to put in your hair.

It comes out really great ! How long did it last ? I'm trying to keep my purple hair on fire and light, but it comes back blue too fast and i don't know if they could handle another bleaching session :/
do you use lilac directions? they ve always washed out blue in my hair.. this last about 4-5 das depends on how often i wash. Better less washing its healthyer for hair anyways. And it washes out silver grey. Or just add a nice red pinkish tone over it and you mix it with your blue hair 🤔

A bit late to the party but may I know how much you mix for the 2 colours?
heey, i srsly dont remember really im so used to mix it by feeling. But i always use the darkest tone of directions and go in with my brush one and a half times. is this understandable? 😅 I always like to see how the mixed colour look like in the mixing bowl in the end. Just let me know if you need more info
