You know what I’ve started thinking about? All the things that changed from classic to TBC. The game really changed in major ways. Flying mounts, a new world, the removal of world buffs, much harder raids, and tons of other things. So that’s what this video is all about. Talking about all the things that changed from classic vanilla wow to TBC wow. You know one thing that I forgot about was how it became easier to quest in the old world, or azeroth. Lots of quests that had elite mobs were made into non-elites like the ogres of stromguard or the trolls of jintha’alor. That is a huge change because that carp was really hard! You’d have to get a group for those quests. And the rewards were awesome. Or even just getting the mallet for ZF you’d have to go to Jintha’alor to create it and you’d need a group for that. So there’s going to be more people with the ZF mallet in TBC that’s for sure. But what else? Well in patch 2.3.0 The Gods of Zul’Aman Patch, The amount of experience needed to gain a level has been decreased between levels 20 and 60. In addition, the amount of experience granted by quests has been increased between levels 30 and 60. Not to mention that in addition to this experience squish and elite mob removal which already makes leveling easier, a bunch of new quests were added to the game. As you wander around the world questing, you’ll find that there are blood elves if you’re horde or draenei if you’re alliance at some of your favorite questing hubs offering new quests. This is a welcome change from classic vanilla wow where there were just some levels where you had to grind because there just weren’t enough quests to do or the quests were not solo-able or it required you to start dungeon massing. So the leveling experience is definitely something that improved with the burning crusade.

Wow I had no idea how much they improved questing while leveling, that's one of the few issues I've had with classic, now I'm hype af for TBC!

just play hunter, most of the quests suddenly become (solo) instead of group

Badge of Justice was awesome because I like smaller group content like dungeons over raids and with BoJ I could still keep up with the big boys.

As someone who has only played horde I'd like to level a draenei if we get tbc classic, didnt know about the lack of elite mobs and increased xp gain in tbc! How long would you say it takes a new player to get to 60 in tbc vs classic we talking a full day played saved in time?

I had quit WoW back then when BC lauched cause as I was mad at blizzard for allowing silly elves and paladins into my horde.... After re playing vanilla on multiple private servers and vanilla. I mean i've had 10+ lvl 60s of almost all classes. Yeah I think I'm ready for something new and ready to try TBC. Looking forward the 25 man raids.
I had quit wow back then, and Blizzard sent me a trial TBC disc in the fucking mail with a letter that said something along the lines of "Fallen hero! are you ready to join up with your allies once again to battle the demons of the Burning Legion!?"
Fuck you Blizzard, was hooked again instantly.
Also, Blood Elf Paladin. Nuff said.

I first started playing about four months before BC first came out years ago took some time off and plan on coming back for BC in the future. It was some of the most fun times of my life. Favorite zone four quest and grind was shadow moon valley and all the classes became really well balanced
same here man, most fun times ever. I really liked the class changes from vanilla too.
One time in smv I was at bottom of hill farming blood elves for rep and out of nowhere I got one shorter by a pyroblast. Two mages I immediately go to my body eat drink and no buffs at all get on flying mount go to top of hill where two blood elves were drop from mount feign death shadow meld and wait for two mages to come up one targets a blood elf and I go into a aimed shot crit and multi shot crit killed one target the other and steady and auto shot him and raptorsstrikes him with axe for second kill. I'm kinda having personal troubles now but plan to come back and lvl a hunter survival 32 for expose weakness two points which should leave me enough points for true shot aura in marksman
if im not mistaken, you couldnt fly 280% in outland? wasnt it like 60% for the first mount, then 150% for epic?

The LFG in TBC was the best version where it only help facillitate the process not do it for you removing the importance of human interaction involved as of LK onward. Sadly the one downside is racials for Arena will bring the community more heavily to the Horde Side and all the 40% alliance 60% horde servers are going to become 20% alliance 80% horde.

Shadowmeld was so much better in Classic and TBC. As a hunter I was able to Aimshot ambush people at any time, or even as a warrior being able to rush out of the shadows and smash someone. I even used a Night Elf priest to hide out and mind control people off cliffs or into lava. Hiding out on horde zeppelins and dropping them over the side. LOOOOVE oldschool Shadowmeld!! The current version is a despicable nerf made by short sighted fools. Shame on them for lacking the imagination to use it properly.

M'uru himself isn't actually that hard. what made the fight hard were the adds. Preach goes over this in his very old video now titled "The Legacy of M'uru - WoW". its a 7 year old video about, well, the legacy of M'uru and how overhyped he actually is as a boss.
I hated that the hyppogryph mount was rewarded to the horde. just like the gryphon, it should be alliance only. they should have given the horde Bats instead. we didn't get a bat mount until BFA (saccing of undercity)

Hardcore players did not play vanilla, it was a joke to us. We were busy with DAOC and raiding in EQ to give this shit a second look.
WoW didn't become WoW until TBC.
TBC is Vanilla completed. Every other expansion is just a cash grab, even WotLK, which I enjoyed for the most part.

@@zaiah0008 Pvp'd since 2005 here reached 2.1k literally the only reason to play Arena in TBC is to get weapons, BGs and wpvp is better.
