When designing the control scheme for this game, the developers really sought to bring to life the challenge of making a cat do anything it doesn't want to do.

Kinda actually makes sense. There is a very expensive coffee called kopi luwak, it is created when civets(a type of wild cat) eat and then poop out coffee beans. I guess after the civet partially digests the beans, it changes the flavor.

It's actually loosely following the cat woman origin story from the 1992 movie Batman returns which ripped off the 1989 Crow comic book. Since the comic was an underground hit in 1989 and The Crow movie came out 2 years after Batman Returns some people think it ripped off Batman Returns.
It's just an excuse for the director to see Haley Berry in leather sensually moaning.

The thought of Game Grumps having an HR department is absolutely the funniest thing I've ever thought of in my life. If they really did have an HR department it would be full 24/7 with complaints about the boss constantly trying to hook up with his co-host.

I think they actually probably do have an HR person but it might just be Allie. With a company their size they must have some sort of way to deal with internal complaints. Arin's ability to read and/or follow a tutorial is non-existent. I know from earlier experiences, but DAMN.
It makes it even worse when Dan is there reading it, understanding it, applying it, and still blasting out amazing humor. Proving that Arin is either just being lazy or honestly believes that reading instructions is either worthless or makes for good content (which it doesn't). I used to argue that "Hey, he's trying to play, understand, and be funny all at the same time so that must be difficult." but like I said, Dan (and many other CZcamsrs and Streamers) have proved that it's really not that hard when you already have a good sense of humor. Which Arin definitely does, he's super funny. And he's also a really good gamer. It just really doesn't seem like he puts in effort (or something else) when it comes to playing games on GG. Like, he can play games like Dark Souls and such with skill but when it comes to games like Sonic, he doesn't try to understand any of the mechanics and because of that he dies repeatedly and loses a bunch of progress when it was easily avoidable which it less fun to watch imo.
I think he just doesn't care to try. Also his ADD makes that a bit harder, to be fair. But yeah he really reminds me of my friend who's dysphasic (mixing the semantics, the very meaning of words, not the letters) when he reads.
My friend would read whole paragraphs out loud of subtitles going at decent speed, perfectly accurately: I'm like ok, reading skill is fine, no issue here. But then when I refer to what just happened or the game mentions it, it's like he only understood 10% of it, if even. Dysphasia is scarily incapacitating, my friend has a rough time socially...
Anyway Arin's showing is so ridiculous it reminds me of a terrible handicap lol.

Not chemicals for Harley. She was a psychiatrist who fell in love with the Joker and joined as his sidekick. So unless you count love as a chemical(not technically wrong), then she was just plain ol’ crazy.

@@charleswisconsin9196 In the comics Joker actually brings Harleen to the same chemical plant where he got transformed and pushes her into a vat of chemicals against her will. It made her go crazy (hence why she falls in love with him) and Joker then named her Harley Quinn.

They should do an ad that's actually the footage right before the ad and at the end have the camera person be like "alright that's a wrap." And both Arin and Dan are just like what? And it ends.

Had to look up other videos of the game just to know I wasn't crazy. I remembered the game being terrible, but I didn't remember it being this much of a graphical mess. lol.

I don't read comics, but I'm pretty sure Catwoman is normally just a regular human lady who's mad sick at acrobatics. For whatever reason, the makers of the movie this game is based on decided "no! that's not stupid enough! make her a science experiment that died and was revived by a cat spirit!"
Actually, kinda reminds me of how at some point it was decided that Peter Parker got his pickled powers from some spider god.
This came out the same year as GTA: San Andreas. Food for thought. (also, Jennifer Hale deservesd better. I guess we all need a pay check.)
