Hello helloooo! Amazing lesson, one more time, i loved it! So, i like all seasons, i believe that each one has her charm! In Brazil, the winter is very weak, here the temperature minimum is the 10 degrees, sometimes 0 degrees, but no where i live, in south states of my country! i'v never seem snow, must be wonderful! who Knows one day i can see snow of near!

To give someone a cold shoulder is as to say in Colombian spanish..No pararle bolas a alguien. For exemple..
Ella se puso berraca porque no le pare bolas...traslated into english...
She went really angry cus I just gave her a cold shoulder !
Estoy maluca hoy ! No quiero salir pa' ningun lado ahora.
I got a cold today ! I don't want to go out anywhere right now.

I can't stand a littel cold weather. I feel like I'm in a refrigetator. Although I like seeing the snow ( only on vídeo of course ) but I would be bundled up in my bed all day long.

About 'stay warm', 'quédate caliente' would probably sound a bit strange in my country (Argentina), I guess we say 'quedate en casa calentito/a', something like that :D
I love the winter and cold weather, but here in Honduras it doesn't really get very cold. I really liked this video, it was wonderful, interesting, and funny at the same time, I mean, it´s wonderful seeing you both playing and jocking with each other, it makes the video even much more enjoyable, and, hmm, I have to say this, you two make such a beautiful and lovely couple, God bless you both! you´re doing an amazing job, so keep up the work!

Hi Maggie. Glad you enjoyed the lesson. There's no single word like "flood" to describe that situation. You could say the city is "frosted over." Or even make a comparison and say "it's like frozen tundra." 👍

I love to bundle up for winter and slush sounds like a fun activity to be done but you may get on to the thin ice if you slip down...however in my country it is never freezing cold just chilly or nippy in the winter therefore i am unable to use the expression that "it is as cold as ice " however, it is helpful to protect yourself from getting a cold .Apart from weather i hate it when my comrades start giving me cold shoulder specially when i getting myself ready for any crucial event and i am getting on cold feet

My brother had the most disgusting phrases about cold that I ever heard. Even our mom was annoyed with him. He'd say "It's cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey," which isn't as bad as it sounds when you look for the full meaning. It comes from a nautical term. Then he'd say "It's colder than a witch's teat," except he used the unmentionable word.
We moved to Florida. That's how much my mom hated snow. I hate snow too. I don't know how to drive in it. You don't want to have an 87 Fiero when there's any snow on the road. I hated the feeling of the car sliding around.

I think u didn't get my question.my question is ,take a example, "I am looking forward to watching your videos.In this sentence, gerund is followed by "to".I have seen this in so many sentences.
Some gerunds and infinitives often follow certain verbs/adjectives + prepositions when used with (to be). [to look forward to (doing something - gerund) / to be addicted to (doing something - gerund)] In your example, the preposition happens to be "to." There are probably some others, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. But again, there's set rule but one just has to study, memorize, practice, and remember these.
