Hoodoos Trail and Badlands Trail Drumheller, AB Canada

We visited the Hoodoos while we were staying in Drumheller. A walk way has been constructed around so as not to disturb the site although you can walk around most of the site freely. There is a small $5 per car parking fee.
Extraordinary geologic formations. It is possible to approach easily, using stairs. Bring good walking shoes there is lots of hiking in the area.
There are two trails here. The second trail is nearby the Royal Tyrrel Museum and around 2.2 miles round trip. It’s a gorgeous trail with beautiful rock formations. Take water and wear good hiking shoes here. The trail is paved and relatively easy. The temperature in August was 34c and the views were breathtaking. You’ll find an immense amount of different flowers and butterflies especially towards the end of the trail.
