- Hello everybody! Tomorrow marks the 9th anniversary of the creation of this channel! As such, I have created a great big compilation video for you all to enjoy! As this video is set to premiere, I gather there'll be quite a few people waiting who go to read the description.
This video is a compilation of all of my old discontinued projects, some from 2017, some as recent as 2020. As most of you know, my FNaF AU was cancelled definitively in 2021, as I left Source Filmmaker behind as a whole (until I finished Below the Surface). As such, anything I was working on was left unfinished entirely. Since then, there's been a great big folder of render files that have been completely unseen for 3 or more years, until today!
I couldn't find time in the video to fully explain the context for some of these videos, as the main intention is to showcase them in their entirety (some of which have been given the treatment of fancy new colour grading courtesy of DaVinci Resolve). I'll try to explain as much as I can about the featured videos in the comments!

00:54 - Pit of Vipers by Simon Curtis
This music video was going to explore the relationship between Michael and Henry, as both of them have been thrown into this "pit of vipers", which serves as a metiphor for the deadly circumstances they both find themselves in.
02:43 - Control by Halsey
This music video was going to continue from where Again left off, with the shadow animatronic fusion, Apollyon, wreaking havoc upon Hurricane as Evelyn struggles to deal with the true loss of her brother. Meanwhile, Shadow Bonnie (Tyler)'s mother Merissa attempts to track him down, following a distress message sent through her television. The two would meet at the end of the video.
04:39 - Can I Get An Amen by CG5
This music video was created once in 2017 for a friend who liked Bendy and the Ink Machine, and again in 2020 for a different friend who also liked Bendy and the Ink Machine. Both friends I am no longer in contact with. I also don't like BATIM.
07:16 - Lockdown by SharaX
This song was one of my friends' favourite FNaF songs, and so I wanted to animate it as a gift for them. This video had two different versions, and after I cancelled it in late 2018 I repurposed it in the ending of Tonight We Strike.
10:47 - Thunder by Imagine Dragons
This music video would explore Freddy's state after the events of Believer, now in a far more dishevelled body. Upon discovering William Afton is still alive, he follows him into Henry's labyrinth and confronts him once more in their fiery deaths.
11:29 - Chica by Groundbreaking
This music video was a part of a series I was building before the 2018 FNaF AU fully came into fruition. Around September of 2017, I decided I wanted to make one music video for every member of the Fazbear band, with The Bonnie Song for Bonnie, Noticed for Foxy, Believer for Freddy, and Chica for Chica. Chica's video was sadly left unfinished.
13:26 - Turn Back by TryHardNinja
This is just a remake of Turn Back, one of my earlier music videos.
13:49 - The Puppet Song by TryHardNinja
This music video was one of my more visually distinct works from the time, although it was cancelled as I found myself having to retexture the puppet for a single shot, which I would constantly procrastinate until I forgot about the video altogether.
14:13 - Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio
This music video was just for fun, it was never intended to be a full video. A little unorthodox, but fun.
14:45 - The Experiment
This music video was made to expand upon the short I released in 2018, as I gained more ideas for a hypothetical full video. The intro was made up until the point of the short, although I didn't know where to go from there.
16:16 - Merry Fnaf Christmas by JT Music
This music video was intended to be a more upbeat and colourful animation of the song as compared to the 2017 original. This version would not follow the original shots at all, being completely separate.
16:46 - Reconstructing More Science by Mike Morasky
Similarly to Gangsta's Paradise, this short was mainly just made for fun and to try out the animatronic retextures.
17:16 - Turn The Lights Off by Tally Hall
I wanted to make a Don't Hug Me I'm Scared music video. That's all there really is to it. There wasn't enough models at the time to make this a reality.
17:39 - Goodbye To A World by Porter Robinson
I have no memory of making this. Sometime in 2017, I guess.
18:36 - Eleven by Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein
I don't really know what this was supposed to be. I think it was going to take place after the finale of the FNaF AU, hence why Amalgamation is missing his head (implying it was stolen back by Golden Freddy before The Experiment).
19:12 - Believer by Imagine Dragons
I threw around the idea of a Believer remake a lot, although I never felt it was necessary. The old video was flawed in a lot of ways, but there was nothing at the time besides the quality of animation that seemed to warrant a remake to me. Until I completed these tests, in which I realised maybe it would be interesting, and would convey Freddy's emotions more clearly.
20:05 - Corpse Party Chapter 1 Theme Remix by Neku / HorrorShop
This music video was going to be a homage to the game that got me into FNaF in the first place, that being TigerCaptain's low-res remake in Roblox that released shortly after the official game. This was my first exposure to Five Nights at Freddy's and the menu music was this song. The original draft of this music video used the actual models from the game, which I managed to uncover through a lot of catalogue digging.
22:10 - Prototype VIP by WoodenToaster
This music video was going to explore the events of FNaF Help Wanted as they transpire within the FNaF AU. As opposed to taking over the mind of a beta tester, Glitchtrap would instead use the headset to completely swap places with the unknowing victim, setting William Afton loose once more into reality.
22:13 - Heathens by Twenty One Pilots
In a strange change of mood for the FNaF AU, following the events of Prototype VIP, William Afton was to be found and condemned for his crimes. Unbeknownst to the Hurricane Police Department, William is no longer completely human, and his electric chair sentence just so happens to be exactly what he wants.
22:23 - Natural by Imagine Dragons
Once William Afton escapes virtual reality, Freddy is awakened in a junkyard somewhere in Utah. So long as William persists after death, his victims are forced to remain just as much. In one final bid for justice, Freddy sets out to hunt down William, who has just escaped from a prison in Hurricane.
22:31 - Control by Halsey
One of these shots is an earlier take of one used for the real video, and another is a mockup of the ending scene created for the 2020 trailer.
22:34 - Thunder by Imagine Dragons
Both shots are mockups made for the 2020 trailer based on plans for the full video.
22:37 - Unknown song
The original plan for the FNaF AU's finale song was to be Balloons by MandoPony, although this was soon decided against following MandoPony's exposure.
The story would follow Apollyon and Merissa returning to the experiment house from I Got No Time, after the sight of Merissa brings strength to Tyler allowing him to control the fusion. Despite Evelyn's efforts to keep the three shadows combined and together on Earth, Merissa burns the remains of the Nightmare animatronics, allowing the three shadows to finally be free. Merissa lets the fire consume her, to reunite with her son in the afterlife.
Evelyn, having ascended with a clearer mind, realises the toxicity of her actions following the loss of her brother. No longer blinded by grief, she reunites with her brother once more, in a peaceful ending for the FNaF AU.

I remember being in a group chat with bon and the group of people I finished the first arg with discussing the au videos that she was planning to make before ending it officially. Feels good to see what became of those even if they weren't finished.
For anyone wondering where bonbun is at, shes still here lol, just extremely busy with life. Shes 18 years old now, already an adult, so it would make sense to associate with other things at this point instead of just fnaf and more fnaf.
However she is still currently making a fnaf animation right now thats about the silver eyes based on twitter posts, was supposed to release on Halloween this year but got delayed.
Let me tell you though, that animation is actually one of the most beautiful and realistic animations out there EVER, so its going to be worth it.

OH HELL YEAH, I LOVE ME SOME OLD CANCELLED SCRAPPED FORGOTTEN THINGIES BEING FINALLY DISPLAYED OR DISCOVERED IN AN INCOMPLETE STATE FOREVER AND EVER, DANG I JUST LOVE IT
I know it doesn't have much to do with the video, but for me the best time for the sfm community was between 2016-2018, at that time we had a lot of really interesting animations, with very innovative themes and scenes, many animators who have at least 100k subs or even millions today appeared at that time, nowadays what we have are the same animations as always, animatronics singing to the camera and scenes from the books/games being recreated dozens of times, I lost count of how many times I saw the puppet lying down with that girl on the floor in some animation, and since nowadays even a person who started in SFM today can do the same lighting as everyone else, these lack of ideas and laziness are hidden behind beautiful scenery, but that doesn't mean it's working right, because nowadays the only animations that get millions are those cringe fights of animatronics, while those with music are in the shadows, you don't see any more getting tens of millions of views like they used to, it's a shame that it got to that point, this one community had the potential to do amazing things, but in the end, we just have people copying each other all the time

Looking back it reminded me of how much of my life you have forged, the first video I ever saw of you was problbly your bonnie song one, then the remake, then stay calm, more and more and I loved your animations so much, so much so that it inspired me to try to make my own and after many years of wanting to I finally am, thank you for being able to make wonderfull creations through the years, you are my biggest inspiration and idol in animation and have bin since I was young, thank you :)

I remember when I was 10 years old watching the original "Believer" video and not caring about the AU and meaning, I always just thought "Hey the song is cool and the animation is too!" So I contributed to the cancellation of these projects, I wish I could go back and enjoy your AU's story before I knew that it would be all cancelled. I sincerely apologize for making you feel obligated to make these animations.

i would imagine so much time were spent on these animations. so i was think that definitely some of these projects would be great as shorts on youtube or videos on tiktok, rather than sitting there in the dust. though a nice collage with all of them in one video is a very sweet idea to show off every bit of what you had :)

16:46 "Reconstrucing more science" would work well with Sister Location, Help Wanted and Security Breach. These FNAF games are about reconstructing with Sci-Fi. Sister Location is about reconstructing possessed animatronics by William Afton to save his Crying Child and everything later was destroyed by Henry Emily. Help Wanted and Security Breach are about reconstructing the entire past into something new. You can make Gregory as reconstructed robot of Crying Child, the only thing left out by Henry Emily, to connect all these games into some music video.

Quick rant that first one reminded me of - I never understand a lot of Michael models. This guy is a decomposing hollow bundle of skin. He's not some emaciated corpse that's rotted traditionally - there are no bones to keep his limbs straight or his head rounded, no eyes supporting those points of light, scant few teeth left in his mouth. A properly accurate interpretation of the character would be utterly horrifying, but there's not a lot of available models to begin with and a lot of them use a very literal and flat interpretation of the purple decomposition in the minigame that doesn't help them look better either. That said, it still is used well as are the animatronic models (and damn, they do look properly massive next to him).
3:17 Now that - the Nightmares, unpossessed but real robots that they are in canon (and yeah I know this is an AU so they can be different, but still), rotting away into terrifying representations of what that fake room is built for. Not that I imagine many people would actually see it, given it's hidden in an already also-hidden bunker, but that's not as important for making the scenes.
All in all, most of these are quite good even unfinished. You've got remarkable attention to detail on the movements and poses particularly. The effects are also quite well done though I don't know enough terminology to accurately describe them. Lighting, particles, and the flares on the lights (I dunno what they're actually called if anything) particularly. Your improvement over time is visible and quite impressive too.
I feel like they probably still had bones? That or later on he had to find some kinda endoskeleton idk

Honestly, it's a shame bunbun films never released the models from her AU, many people really felt down because it got cancelled and since it doesnt look like she will ever continue the au i dont see why she wont just release the models she used, especially the shadow Amalgam, in my opinion releasing it could be a good oppertunity from her to all her fans but also could allow her fans to either finish the series for her, different variants per person or even do some fan Animations for her as a "thank you" message for all the years she was here for us, i aint saying she has to release the models for everyone to use, but it would be a good opertunity so the models dont get wasted and rot away somewhere.
Afterall, alot of time went into designing the models, especially the withered toys and the shadow Amalgam, so bonbun films, if you see this comment, please think about releasing the models or at least using them for Animations, or else all the time you spend making the models would just be wasted for nothing.

@@BonBunFilms alright, it's your choice so i can't really do anything about it, if you think this was hate, it wasn't, what i wrote were just some ideas as i saw the drama people made about the private model things, in my opinion it doesn't matter as you own them so it's all up to you, i just want to mention i'd support whatever your future plans are, other than that i wish you good luck with how your life moves on.
