Old, reliable & beautiful plane, still amazes me...
why the music when we all want to hear those radial engines
cuz flamenco dope
That's. Right
P
@@dawsonj7016 actually it's Andean traditional - Charango and Quena. I'm pretty sure the tune is a San Juanito from Ecuador, which, although it's my favorite genre and I listen to a ton of it, I cannot for the life of me figure out what it's doing on this video.
and why PERUVIAN music when is ALASKA. i am from Argnitna and hate that music
You can hear the at 1:10
Dizzy 3 can do amazing things. I was in the jump seat of one that landed going up-slope of a mountain side. As it came to a stop, gunned the engines and pointed the nose downhill for the take off two hours latter. After two weeks the hunting party was picked up in the same way.I did not get to fly on the pick up, but my buddy Jody (Pilot) told me that cross winds made it an exiting adventure.
Looks like a pretty hard landing. I fell sorry for the right strut!!!
Imagine how many landings of this sort this DC-3s landing gear has taken. It really is a very sturdy airplane! 😍
The music is appropriate, because DC-3's are also flying in Central and South America.
No other aircraft can do what they are capable of.
That's what you call dropping it in. Don't let Joe see that landing, you'd be back on the ramp forever!!!!!!!!
great video, save for the music
Pilot and machine know each other.
You think that the wheels were biting that well, or that it took that much throttle to break the skis loose after unloading? Looked like he was trying to win a STOL contest!
Nice footage, thanks for the heads up. That guys really puts it in short over those trees!
Отличное видео!
Музыка супер!
Very cool!
lovely skiing by the plane
Looks like a real pilot flying that old bird good stall landing good job.
Brought that in pretty well, looks like cabin building season. Beautiful area
love that sound.
why keep that stupid music on instead of the sounds of a radial engine flyby!!
Thanks! Great Airplane---DC-3.mmmmmmmm
Awesome!
Would rather hear DC3 than that music...doesn't fit at all. Nice flying.👍🇬🇧
The skis retract with the wheels? Whoah!
Flying beauty!
That was a rough landing lmao, Old girl took it like a champ though.
Really nice video
DC3 pilots are officially the craziest cargo pilots in the world.
Cool.
Didn't know ABAC flew flew that far south.
Nailed it!
I want to know the music :) ?
WOW! Great flying!
A very good aviation video, but destroyed by music :-(
The music spoilt it. The only music you want to hear around a DC3 is those magnificent sounding radials …..
Why stalling it when there's runway to stop with a softer landing. Don't treat an old good lady like that, mannnnnn, geeeeeeee!!!!
It's a taildragger only wheel landings or stall landings
3 points are the shortest way to land
@@wolfgagger - no kidding!! Stay on Cessnas...
nice music!... considering most of these aircraft fly down in south america ;)
whats the name of the song??
You finally find this music??
Ahhh no brakes !!
When was that landing?
Would be ideal for Switzerland!
why?
1:10 the sound!!!!!
hello greetings good friend video
The se old boys never die?
Hi, Awesome video! May I ask about permission to use your video with credit to promote it ? Have a nice day ! :)
Alaska Strong.
Name of the music?
whats with the ending
Did he skim the tree top at 0:17 ?
lol he did
No, not even close
warren weldon You’re stupid. It’s pretty clear that he did.
his flaps barely touched
Music not very appropriate: south american music in north america...
Strange comment
Did that. James Bay hydro project 1973
Operator.
that's the north pole plane type
That chick says OMG alot
I didn't know they played Andes pan flute music in Alaska? Seriously? Ugh all we genuinely want to hear is the sweet sound of those Pratt and Whitney 2800 radial engines.🤦🏻♂️
1:10, sounds pretty radical to me
R 1830 those engines are
music?
You finally find this music?
