On my 1.9tdi automatic, managed to do the job from the top only and did not need to remove battery.

This is so useful - doing this job this weekend. I have the Golf manual already but you guys should think about doing videos for all the jobs in the manual - I would happily pay for that!

Nice video. Made my job very easy but I didnt have to remove the battery or battery box. Its not in the way at all on a 1.9 pd

Havent looked into this much but wouldnt the pos lead be red? Apparetly not.

Why don't they say what size the nut is? I know how to take the nuts off but one is jammed so I need to know 100% what size spanner I'm using so I don't round it off
