    Hah, same as my 156.
Once past the frozen lock you had to release the frozen door seal.

They are not intended for frigid cold climates but instead the balmy Mediterranean...

I discovered the same problem after buying a GTV as a temporary winter car 🤦‍♂️ somehow also the fan didn't start blowing for the first few minutes. And the rear window heating was broken due to a problem with the fuse box. Oh and it doesn't have an outside temperature gauge. Boy was I wrong 😂 I just had to do the right thing: keep the car, park it indoors and just enjoy it every now and then. Busso love doesn't fade!

Of course the locks should be frozen on a Alfa:) At least there are no door handles that brakes apart easy like it would on my Alfa 164 now and then during Swedish winter time.

Mine does the same. So does my Fiat Uno and my Tesla model 3, unless I remember to have it defrost itself :) Nothing a bucket of warm water can’t fix

PTSD watching this, though it’s even worse once you have got in, driven to work only for the locks to bounce and a message comes over the tannoy that the alarm’s going off again. Many a walk of shame and cans of WD40 used.

very common FIAT issue, also the handbrake in winter leave at least one wheel blocked, if you are lucky....

Then ! The widow will be firmly frozen to the door seal. Then in the phase 1 models (with non dropping windows) you will need to scrape the window past the frozen and stiff seal ! Oh the joy 🤔

Thats not only Alfa, i have the same in my Audi, in my Ford and worse my friends Tesla haha. I use a rubber conditioner that someone gave me from Germany but the labels are gone so I can't remember the brand but keeps the seals from sticking.

I have a weird question, i happened to rip my cover for the keyway the one that you plug the key in, not the whole key and locking mechanism, just the chrome looking cover with the sliding thingy, do you happen to know of this can be replaced ?
