I grew up a Louisville fan and will root for any university in Kentucky (EKU/WKU/Murray State/Transy/etc) to beat the University of Kentucky, but I've never been a hater and when Cal came to Kentucky I feel like UK began to give Duke a run for its money in being a school so many liked to root against and even hate on. I take most my games by radio and I've listened to Cal's postgames so often in those first few years and some other interviews of Cal when time avails itself. Sometimes his talk might have some would-be haters say he's cocky ... if anything he's confident in what he says. I like the guy a helluva lot ... I think he's been great for Kentucky basketball and great for the state of Kentucky. I don't know when he calls it quits coaching in Kentucky but before he does, I'd like to see the Cats get one more before he goes elsewhere or retires (so long as they don't beat the Cards on the way to that championship).
Probably gonna beat the cards this season my friend. Don't know for certain nor am I officially predicting anything, I'm just opinionating thus far this season comparing the 2 programs but I believe Payne will get louisville in the right direction within the next year or 2 for sure!
I love it when Dan interviews Coach Calipari
Calipari is the best! Impacting young people's lives!
Dan Patrick is the best in the business.
i love how they can goof on each other
