- The Dewalt DPC10QTC-GB is a small and compact unit that is much quieter than a normal air compressor. The Dewalt DPC10QTC-GB weighs in at just 17kgs and has two quick release connectors which enable two compressed air lines to be connected to the machine simultaneously. The air pressure can be adjusted via the easy to adjust regulator on the front of the machine. This is by far the quietest air compressor that I have ever used, this machine will not annoy the neighbours as much as a traditional air compressor!

Don't need one but always appreciate your reviews! I've also learnt that the decibel scale isn't linear. Another great vid, Cheers.

Thanks for the comment ;-)
Cracking stuff mate! Noise makes hell of a difference. Cheers for the upload
+Haider A
Absolutely, this one is fantastic because t's so quiet compared to a traditional compressor.
Thanks for the comment ;-)
bought one of these after watching your video. absolute blinding little compressor. im a fencer by trade and this runs my nail gun all day firing 50mm nails. thanks for the info.
Thanks for the comment ;-)
Exactly the comment I was looking for mate, I'm a fencer too and just switching over to air tools, got a cheapo compressor til I found a professional one, this seems would do the trick, are you 16 guage nails?
Cheers mate
Does the weight of the unit increase when the cylinder is full?
(NOT a serious question - just for fun)
I was hoping it was going to be rechargable too! not a bad bit of kit just need a excuse to buy one now!
It's a great piece of kit ;-)
Thanks for the comment
Hmm that abac pole position is rated at 70dB was thinking of getting an abac too. There's an endless selection out there but not easy to find a compressor thats low noise and framing nailer friendly with a high enough cfm. Small tank with low noise or big 50l tank with high nose thats the decision i have. Thanks for the vid with sound reading though.
You are welcome

Great job explaining, thank you....a question - can you use this compressor (turn regulator down low enough) to inflate basketballs, bicycle tyres, blow out dust/fluff from hobby/craft machines, inflate swimming pool rings.. or is this asking too much? Would be great to have a compressor that can be used in the workshop as well as for these more menial tasks.
Yes, this will be fine for jobs like that ;-)
Thanks for the comment 👍
One thing you haven`t mentioned is size of motors? This will compact on decibel output. The other compressor I noticed has 2.5 HP motor.
+Tommy Mckay That's correct, thanks for the comment ;-)
How do the attachments work? Are they universal or would I have to but specific ones to fit this air compressor? Thanks
+kraig walton All compressed air tools are universal as they normally come with either a 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch threaded hole with a BSP thread (in the UK). You then screw in your own quick release connector to the tool. You only need to do this once when you buy the tool. The quick release connectors on this compressor are widely used and easily available. The compressor does come with a pneumatic hose, with quick release connectors attached. Thanks for the comment ;-)
Nice compressor. I just think that Dewalt is a bit pushy for my diy projects. My 24L LIDL air compressor is doing the trick for now.

Yes, it's normally due to condensation, unless you have a water leak etc.
If you treat the mould, then use a anti-mould paint such as Zinsser Perma white it can help prevent the mould from reoccurring. Sorting out the condensation is the best option, we normally have the dehumidifier running to prevent a build up of it.
You can read more about it here- www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk/how-to/damp/condensation

nice video. Thanks for sharing. Out of curiosity do you have the model number of the gun you were using? Thanks.
Thanks, this is the gun I was using- czcams.com/video/Ye4_S3TrGuI/video.html
Thanks. Much appreciated.
You are welcome ;-)
Would this run a framing nailer?
It should do, this unit provides 2.9cfm so that will be fine for most framing nailers.
Nice machine but a bit expensive..........!
Thanks for the review chez : )
+yensabi
Yes, it's not the cheapest but great for site use especially with the low noise.
Thanks for the comment ;-)
are these good for the first fix guns?
Not 100% sure, you would have to check the air consumption of the nail gun, this compressor delivers -
Air delivery (l/min/cfm)@7bar) 82/2.9
Thanks for the comment 👍
looks awesome, how much is it?
+James
Yes, it's great. You can get it online for about £260
Thanks for the comment ;-)
The cheapest stockist I have found for these so far is - fave.co/1UUPKXJ
Can I spray with HVLP 10psi gun ?
Regards
I'm not sure to be honest. I would imagine that you would need a larger compressor with a receiver, as you will require a larger volume of air.
Thanks for the comment 👍
@@ultimatehandyman thank you!
Would it run a 1st fix nailer?
Yes, it should do. These are marketed as "Designed primarily for 1st and 2nd fix nailing applications" 👍
Where in the uk can you get one
+pat stewart
This is the cheapest place I have seen them- fave.co/1UUPKXJ
Do you reckon this would be able to run a framing nailer?
I'm not sure. You could always check the consumption of the nailer and then check that against the output from the compressor.
Dewalt market this as" Extremely low noise compresor designed for framing and finishing applications" , so it should be able to run a framing nailer.
@@ultimatehandyman cheers I will email them and ask 👍

All designers should be working to find ways of making equipment quieter. Overly noisy equipment is down to bad design or poor quality components..
Thanks for the comment
9.4 liter tank must be useless, i have a 24L which is borderline useless.. I like your videos alot but Dewalt are definatley paying you lots to big up their products
+Technics Guy This machine is ideal for most pneumatic nailers.I find your tone very offensive and for the record I have never been paid a single penny from any power tool manufacturer. There is no way I'd ever big anything up, regardless of how much money I was offered!
+Ultimate Handyman Thanks for reply, Apologies if you took offence
+Technics Guy
No worries.
Thanks for the comments
Terrible machine sent it back Id rather a little more noise than a useless piece of shit.
