I just bought this vacuum from Sam's today and the booklet doesn't show you what all the buttons are for and as the video shows the accessories do not fit properly. I thought about taking it back but decided to keep it because when I used it on my carpet I was shocked at the amount of cat hair that it picked up and I just had my house cleaned yesterday. I has a very impressed how you have way to chose the suction from minimum to maximum. I'll just put the accessories somewhere that I can get when I want to use them. Sharpe might want consider a different arrangement for those items.
Thank you for this. Came to YT to find a video of someone with it fully assembled. The manual didn't help. Surely I wasn't just an idiot. The mechanic in me is annoyed, and I'd return it on principal alone, but the wife is still happy and excited with it so we're keeping it lol
I have a corgi mix , picks up long hairs really well , haven’t had hair get wrapped up on the brush/fins , have the same problem with the brush attachment not fitting on the left side.
I just bought one of these from BJs. I have a much older model Shark that I love and I really wanted a second vac for the third floor. This seemed like the best choice…until I unpacked it. I completely agree about the design flaw in the attachment storage. My old vac has the posts labeled, so you know which attachment goes where, and amazingly they both fit! *face palm* What a concept! On the bright side, my attachments from my old vac fit the new one! Nice. :) The cord on my old vac is also designed to wrap out of the way of the attachments and the distance between wrap points is almost twice as far. This means it takes more time to wrap the cord on the new one and it’s more likely to fall off. Counter-intuitive? Trust me. Even though the posts are closer together on the new vac, I have to change directions twice as often, so it’s less efficient overall. As for the bit about the grooves on the handle, those are specifically for attachment to the wand. That’s why you don’t see them on the wand and they don’t match up with the attachments. I’ve vacuumed a couple of rooms and used the pet attachment to do some stairs. Overall, I’d say I’m pleased with my purchase, though if I could have gotten the exact same model as my other vac, I would have preferred that. The “improvements” on this model have nit impressed me, but Shark is still an excellent company that makes reliable products. Also, I’m curious to see if the self-cleaning brush heads win me over. Manually cleaning them in my old vac is a pain.
Your welcome. We kept it. It sucks great; but the oddball attachment fitting for the tools really is frustrating. As such the pet tool stays in the closet when we use it and it’s never handy when we need it. Seems like an engineer with half a brain would have caught this flaw before it was made.

Yep I’m in the same boat. It vacuums great but the tool storage mounts are dumb.

So there is a third storage slot for the pet power brush right near where the handle meets the vacuum ✅ works great!

Yup they go on the end of the wand fine, but they don’t store on the sides like every other vacuum manufactured by engineers with good sense.
Yes it fits perfectly on the clip of the wand and I think is handy that way, I like it.
