Superb job man. Would like to see how you do a matte finish or even a patina pain job.
sound cool
The masking is in your way
I use a pouch wheel give it a go mate super quick

if you are looking for suggestions for another video, i would love a tutorial on gold/silver leaf. i have the idea down. but have questions. like how long do you wait to clear over it and other stuff. i dig the way you explain things, makes it seam like anyone can accomplish it.
Just getting all my crap together and its coming atcha !!! thanks for your support
With this would work on 1/25 scale car models
Yes
👌👍
Thanks for watching
Do you think a black metallic base with candy Over it would still show the metal flake? Or should I do a black base with a heavy metal over it before the candy?
Sure, it will be more subtle.
Look nice, can you do a flame video with flames weaving over-and-under?
Yeah I can probably do that good idea
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint thanks man that would be awesome maybe the ghost Flame with no pinstripes?
😘😘😘👍
I enjoyed the video can a stencil be used too do flames if you want a more realistic look? On the classic flame can a thin paint brush be used too add detail?
For sure thanks for watching 👊
How about a video on color sanding and buffing
there are two of them
Hi there, very good video. I am about to duplicate this to my helmet as a 1st try. A question thogh: The overspray of the candy red and gold into the black, will this be totally invisble after the clear coat has been applied?
Yes because the red and gold candy are transparent
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint Thanks a lot for the rapid reply! 🙂
Great work however the #1 rule for fire effects is "Fire is never symmetrical". Still looks cool regardless ;)
Thanks for watching
Question how to restore gel coat paint on motorhome, it,s oxidation ,can I wet sand with 600 and clear?. YOUR THE 🤴, I use to help buddy prim and mask ,cars in 80,s retired now ,
you will need to basecoat again
I hate these love your process
I would like to know your process of preparing thanks
Thanks I appreciate you watching!!
Hey Adam do you ever use createx candy 2.0 for spraying over metal flake
I have yes. It works just drys really slow
Had a question. I've been watching alot. At the beginning of painting a car or any surface. Do you have to sand off all paint before air brushing and pinstriping.
Not always, on good condition factory paint I just sand the paint smooth and reprimer.
Hey Adam, I've done a few jobs now and I keep getting little bits of the black basecoat (when shot through my airbrush) peeling up when I lift the fineline tape off. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
maybe try straining your paint.
Using that technique for a helmet, could you replace the candy red, with neon orange ?
Sure, thanks for watching my videos 👊
Hey adam, does the flake show through the black basecoat? Im looking to do a black with heavy flake with airbrushed candy designs on a motorcycle gas tank
no it does not
May I ask what you do with these painted panels?
limeline.bigcartel.com/
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint I have seen the products but I still wonder what you do with some of the demo pieces??
Oh. I just keep them. Nothing at the moment
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint Ok , They and you are super cool. I thought you were selling them.
Thanks , Mike
Ghost flames under a kandy black
Sounds awesome
Do you think it is possible to do it on a 1/24 scale model car. I watch your videos carefully because I would like to do that on one of my creations?
yep use 1/16" LiME LiNE
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint thanks you mister
So does the kandy not show up when you get it on the black?
It’s because candy pain is transparent
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint i get that, but surely it has to tint that black a little doesn't it?
Not if you’re using the right stuff
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint ok cool. I'm planning a kandy brandywine over some silver and black with graphics. Didn't know if i needed to mask the black when i kandy it.
What color was your base under the flake?
Black
Cool thanks getting ready to do the mini hood that I recently won from you foil embossed video. And that's what I was going to spray.
Where do you get those hoods?
limeline.bigcartel.com/
Code: TIMEWARP
Had another question. When doing car. Do you work in a square grid pattern. Or continue like your projects on here. Thanks
That is a brilliant question. I would also like too know?
I start by following the body line then work off of that tell something looks good.
I start by following the body line then work off of that tell something looks good.
What’s the most time to wait before removing any of the tape ?
Just when it’s dry
The flame don't flow
Lame flame
