- Okay, sooo, hehe. One of our dear viewers and patrons is going through a tough time right now, and birds hold a special place in her heart. So, yes, this is my version of a bird-themed video:) I hope this special person (I don't want to say names, because I never know who's comfortable with what) will enjoy this video! I hope all of you will too:) I don't know about you, but I would love to read a book sheltered by a bird's wing. For one, the nest is up high, and no people is always good. And secondly, this bird looks like he's ready to kick some butt if anyone tries to disturb your reading time, haha. Enjoy.

(Hubby uses Wacom Cintiq 16. He sometimes helps me, since he's an illustrator, and I can't draw, lol.)

I watch for awhile and then find a book that fits the setting and then I am hooked.
I will listen again and again until my book is finished my friend.
Or I'll lie back and daydream away as I watch on my far wall.

Thanks Ruby. I might start listening while reading fantasy books. I tried it this arvo and it worked well. I find if I'm reading the ambiance created by the music helps keep me awake when reading. Also adds to the whole experience.

This sounds very specific, but I'd love to hear one where you're being stalked by a carnie in the back corners of a circus at night. Haunting circus music, crickets chirping, leaves and grass crunching, distant laughter and chatter.

I’m very comfortable around birds. We have a mutual understanding on how things work. Killing bad, food is good, shiny things are best. It’s why I get along with Ravens so much, apart from speaking their language. It’s mainly squawks and ruffling of feathers. It was really hard to learn how to make my hair bristle like feathers, but soon I could hold hour long discussions with the creatures. Also this giant white bird is super chill, and enjoys the entrails of donkeys. We have so much in common

i’m pretty sure those are dove sounds, but for some reason it reminds me of sitting at the end of the dock at my grandparents lake house and hearing the sound of people talking or playing music on their boats being carried across the water....

I love the concept of this one a lot...feels very comforting. I would suggest trying a car (in movement) kind of thing too. Maybe some feathers ruffling or some breathing sounds or heart beats because the listener is supposedly reading underneath the bird which indicates that the listeners is physically close to the bird.
Like the girl is reading to cheer herself up during a hard time--not knowing how much danger she would be in if the bird spirit were not protecting her. As it is, she doesn't realize it's there.

Enara shivered as another gust of wind whipped through the valley. Despite the warm bed of feathers she normally slept against, the coming winter insisted on making itself known. She couldn't sleep again, images of the world's horrors kept creeping along her consciousness. She wished she could will them away, but with each passing night they came stronger than ever.
Admitting defeat, she carefully removed herself from beneath Deryn's wing. Deryn was the Mother of all those lost and forgotten in the world. She had found Enara when she was only a baby, abandoned beneath a tree. From that moment on she had become her Enara, her little swallow.
Enara donned her down cloak, wrapping it tightly to protect her against the night chill. The moon was almost full that night, giving off just enough light to read. She curled herself down against the edge of the nest, pulled one of the many books Deryn had collected for her to her face, and began to drown herself in a world far removed from her own.
Enara was so enraptured with the story that she gave little notice when the first drops of rain fell. Though Deryn did. Quietly, so not to disturb her little swallow, she extended her wing so it covered her youngling.
As the night wore on Enara's eyes grew heavier and heavier, until she drifted off into a soundless sleep. With great care Deryn scooped her up and laid her once more against her side. Though the world may try to creep upon her child, she would never allow it to overtake her. Enara was safe, protected, and in the arms of her mother.

Love this one! Hope the little story is alright. I've been dealing with writer's block for a bit now (and as I use writing as a tool in dealing with my depression and ptsd it hasn't been fun.) I normally use your videos for when I write anyway, but when I opened this one up my muse just woke up. I lit some candles, made some tea, and started writing and this is what happened.
And to the person this was made for, all the hugs and warm thoughts to you. Life can bring on the worst moments, but always remember that is all they are, just moments. Hopefully this video gave you some peace, and may more soon follow.

hii just some feedback, i get kinda anxious with the close up asmr scratching and page turning.. but i really really really really love the bird atmosphere u created !! i would really love to see some plain atmopshere/ambience asmrs like the forest shrine one : ), maybe if you want the viewers to still hear those up close sounds, you could reccomend them to open another tab and play another youtube video that has asmr book turning ? idk : ( but i would love to listen to this video without the up close page turns : (
