- Okay, so I'm having a phase with these glowing-eyed giants it seems, lol. It will pass, I promise:D I think I just opened a whole new door with including creatures in my videos. I have so many ideas:) I love books and movies that bend the line between reality and dreams, so that's the vibe I was going for here. The Tree God emerged from the ground to pay this cottage in the middle of the woods a visit. (Maybe he's out of sugar?) He came across an unexpected friend on the way--the cat on top of the roof:) And the birds seem to love the Tree God too; they especially love sitting on his giant antlers, which are basically branches:) Fun fact: Mother Nature is great pals with the Tree God. Enjoy.

*~Hearing all these mentions of books and such got me a bit motivated, so I tried writing in a style I’ve never done before... I hope the results are pleasing to read whilst you all listen to this beautiful piece of work!~*
The dark oak forest was buried in a heavy blanket of fog, the sounds of birds and mammals alike filled the empty woods. Whether it be the branches creaking, the birds tweeting, or perhaps even the wolves howling, there was never any silence to be heard. Such a place could only be described as the realm of dreams.
And in the heart of the large dreamy forest, was a small cottage of old origin. The windows were empty and dusty, a single lantern hanging from the roof. While dim and the light hidden in fog, only the keenest of eyes could see it.
The cottage had a owner; a cat of midnight that blended into the ominous forest. She sat on the roof, living the luxury a cat would tend to live. For every step she took, the old cottage creaked and groaned, chains and wet wood being the source of these small sounds.
But there was another sound...
*Thump. Thump. Thump.*
Heavy thuds echoed across the forest. The feline of the night perked her head and ears up, golden eyes staring off into the fog. The forest trembled with each quake, the fog shifting ever so slightly. Amongst the pine and the blanket of white, two orbs of flickering silver appeared. As the thuds continued, more and more of a humanoid figure began to appear. As if at once, a creature made that seemed of the entire forest stood. With gargantuas branches for antlers, and crooked logs for fingers, it peered down at the cottage.
In one of its hands, was a much larger lantern, roughly a quarter size of the cottage itself! Chains clanked and clashed as the beast idly rocked back and forth.
With every breath, the wooden figure of the beast would make noise, but the creature itself did not. The cat stared up, sensing no ill intent from the majestic being. Only curiosity would be felt behind eyes as wide as saucers. The feline meowed continuously up at the creature.
Without even any indication that it had a mouth, the tree person quietly screeched back as if conversing. Fearless, the feline of midnight lurked forward before sitting down and looking up at its newest friend.
The beast... No, the entity known as the Tree God, who traveled through and protected the forest, was nothing of legends. There would be no bloodshed tonight, only the creation of a bond.
Curiosity would not kill the cat on this majestic night.

I haven't been able to enjoy in any books in a while now, so being able to allow myself to imagine this world and everything was refreshing and very welcoming! That's interesting. I don't watch behind the scenes - not because I don't care. Far from it; it's just that things like that corrupt the magic for me. The magic that of creation that stirs as I sit and listen and dream.

I saw how she made her videos with her boyfriend. It is 100% original.
It was nice seeing the idea and the hand drawing comes to life. It was nice to see how the sound and movement was made.
It was nice to see the creativity of both of them.
I now see her work as real work of art now. It gives me a different feelings for her videos.
I usually do not care about behind the scene. This time I am glad I watched. I have more respect for her and her boyfriend and their work. I do not know if her boyfriend always do something in her videos but the Big cat video and the under the water temple video he was involved.

If you were there you would be finished ,tree gods take people and they never return, its not there to socialize.
The bird hanging out on the end of the Tree God's branch/antler is just chill with everything.
I am an artist and mathematician. My goal is to show my 5 year old son the magic around him. Living deep in the Appalachian mountains, I am blessed with that oppurtunity but your videos give depth to the imagination. Tomorrow we are going to the woods to build our own tree god. Thank you!

As a child walking home from church with family I thought that the trees over past the rail road tracks had come to life and were walking same pace as us. There were giant and two story houses blocked me from seeing only tip of the trees. It was night time. We were at church late. I was quite young. It scared me. This video has made me remember this night from long ago. But I'm an adult now and I love this video!

I love this and your entire channel so much ♥ It's exactly the kind of atmosphere I absolutely adore ! I see a lot of people talking about "over the garden wall" , but I can't help but be more reminded of some video games I especially love, like "Limbo" and the "Ico games" , notably "Shadow of the Colossus" . I used to play Ico just to listen to the sounds of nature in the castle, which are very much the same as in this video : the wind, distant flapping of wings, fire crackling, chains noises... I always loved those so much, so to hear them in a beautiful video like this one is really heartwarming! I don't know if you're familiar with the video games I mentioned at all, but if you're not, I highly recommend them.
