@@sunnysamuel7544 Kiwis are not bad/backwards, Aussies are just God level at rugby league now. Just like how NZ are God level at union. NZ used to be more dominant at league because the rest of the competition were still catching up.
This is happening in other sports too, like international basketball. USA don't really smash everyone anymore, but it doesn't mean they've gotten worse. Its simply because everyone else has improved drastically.
If more NZ girls come play in NRLW, they will improve way faster than they would in NZ domestic comps

NZ Rugby League Womens is dead... This is a real problem now.. since the NZ Womens Rugby has won the cup.. NZ Womens League has been so dominate over the years Since that Womens game in is gone professional in the NRL you can now see the difference.

Word of Advice to New Zealand Rugby League. Please when playing in a World Cup or any other tournament, keep the players family and whanua away from them until after the tournament. The team must be kept in a bubble to keep their focus on the game. When I saw the players families on television news arriving in England the day before the game to see their kids play in the final , I knew it would bugger their mental focus which they desperately needed for such a big event. Why the coaching staff doesn't know this , is beyond me
Incorrect. Some players play better when reminded of what is important and don't get too overawed by the occasion.

@@brettwilkinson9529 fair point but teams perform different week to week for many reasons. You are speculating that this is the main and perhaps only reason. English men's team pumped Samoa in pool play then lost to them in semi. It can happen.
@@emersontaylor8218 mental focus is everything in high performance sports. NZ League needs to learn more in this department to give them an advantage. They have an abysmal win record against Australia. They are able to match them physically but fail to do the same mentally.
@@brettwilkinson9529 Yeah no doubt. Australia seems to do well with their centralised academy of sport system. Mental focus can be taught. Our (NZ) system of separate "high performance" centres for each sport seems to be hit and miss. Consider all the scandals with rowing, cycling etc.
