For those who don't know, a shelter in place warning is a warning urging you to basically lock all doors and windows, and to stay inside. Depending on the situation, you may be asked to seal of cracks on doors and windows, and to shut off and cover vents. This warning was issued due to an individual shooting and killing a cop, and the police were operating a manhunt for the individual.
Where in the occasion of a chemical spill biohazard attack or other airborne hazards are around is when you would seal all doors and windows along with turning off all ac or heating units
I’ve gotten a Shelter In Place Warning during the beginning of the pandemic on March 15th 2020 due to a biological hazard for the Covid cases, but since I’m kind of a solitary person that doesn’t really blog about many warnings on my NOAA Weather Radio I usually just keep quiet about it and not attract attention
A guy walked up to a Pennsylvania State Police depmartment buliding and shoot and killed two troopers leaving the station in their and now he is the loose! He has machine guns, a crap ton of ammo, and hand grenades!!!

He basically collects Weather Radios, when you have them set to your location, they will sound for threats, you can be lucky to find some rare alerts, but don’t take is as a trophy, but an actual threat

He luckily eventually got caught and was arrested, but it was a scary time for everyone. I don't live in the place where the event happened, but it was on the news.

It was because a man went into the Pennsylvania Police office and killed some troopers and injured a few so, the Pennsylvania state police has requested the NWS to issue a Shelter In-Place Warning to alert all citizens of the area to remain in shelter so they don't be seen by the murderer.

a shelter in-place warning is where you have to stay in shelter with closed, doors, windows, turned off air conditioners, fire places, etc. This event can occur if a biohazard substance has been exposed to the place where they issue it. It's recommended to stay tuned to a radio or tv for more information on that subject!
but in this case, a severe murderer that killed a few of the troppers in the Pennsylvania Police office was on the loose and the Pennsylvania State Police had to request the NWS to issue the warning immediately had to alert all the citizens of the effected area to continue to shelter in-place so they don't get spotted by the murderer.

This warning was because a man by the name of Eric Frein had shot and killed a police officer and severely injured another.

@@Dylanowich Oh yeah. That man was a freak. The police didn’t know if he was out to hurt other people so they told everyone to stay indoors with windows shut and doors locked. I live in Northeast PA so I kinda lived through it, even though I don’t live in Monroe County, but still. I was close.

Do not go outside of your home or that room. Stay put and do not move. Sit in a corner which they cannot see you through a window and if they do get through the door. If they do wait. They might be government officials. If it is not. Either fight with all you got or try to sneak out and GET OUT immediately! Then you must hide some place else or if it is a person doing this and it happens to be in your house got your keys on you? Drive to police if you don't. FUCKING RUN
