- Dollar Tree DIY Lanterns decorated for CHRISTMAS! These decorated lanterns are the Christmas decorated lanterns (3 FARMHOUSE ) from my Pottery Barn Inspired DOLLAR TREE Wood Lantern DIY from several weeks ago. Now it is time to decorate them for the Christmas Holiday with BLACK and WHITE BUFFALO CHECK, RED and BLACK BUFFALO CHECK, BURLAP and BERRIES, and one more GLAM with large gold balls and gold, white and green florals.

The lanterns themselves come together QUICK and EASY with two DOLLAR TREE square wall hangings, 4 risers (from plunger, shovel, rulers, dowels, etc), and a combination of different odd items to create a topper of your choice. Finish off with a paint color of your choice and it is ready to decorate! Add a battery operated candle by itself or in a DOLLAR TREE vase, or fill or top with a flower arrangement, or fill with the items of your choice like pumpkins, decorative balls, or Christmas ornaments! The possibilities are endless!!

These lanterns were pretty prior to the flowers. All of the details on them made them pretty. You added these beautiful flowers and ribbons just beautiful. In love with the blue stems, so pretty. The gold bulbs and stems is gorgeous, Love it! Floral tape is very forgiving. Love the white lanterns. Great job!!

My favorite is the little plunger thing, but since you use the regular plunger handle it makes sense to use the suction part on top of it.

Your lanterns are pretty. Love the blue flowers. I had a silver tinsel tree was all blue flowers, but it was left in Texas.
I don’t gift. In order for me to gift someone they had/have to live with me. It’s an acknowledgement of their sacrifice.
Evidently I need to search more for florals at Walmart. I frequently forget what I’m looking for since it’s a treasure hunt.
