      hello Juliett ,I enjoy your reactions/analysis ,your a pleasure to watch, there's an Amazing band and their Amazing singer you really should take a peak at, we would love to see your analysis of her vocals ,Nightwish - ( Symphonic Metal also called Beautiful Metal) they are from Finland, and their vocalist Floor Jansen ( Dutch) ,the song Ghost Love Score - Live at Wacken 2013 is the most reacted to song on YT ever with some vocal coach reactors getting over 2.5 Million views, I think you may be very surprised and "Floored" :) Floor started studying music at the Dutch Rock Academy in 1999, entering the Conservatorium Tilburg three years later. Tatiana is truly amazing. I would highly recommend "Judgment and Punishment" One take performance, it is just her and a microphone. Perfect for a vocal coach like yourself to see what she is doing through the whole song. The other members of the band would also interest you, particularly Vladislav. He is a classically trained pianist and does much of their musical arraignment. This video was made to show of his drumming just after he joined the band because they liked the new sound he brought to a song written before he joined. Vlad even has a video on the Jinjer official page where he plays some Rachmaninov on the piano.

    • @JuliettNovak

      Really? I'm classically trained too. I have to check that. I used to play Rachmaninov too and Brahms, Liszt, Chopin, Bach, Mozart and many more. Awesome, thanks for letting me know.

      In the band, everyone is brilliant, Vlad as I know there seems to be almost the only one with a higher musical education. Tatyana, for example, a teacher (Jinjer - Teacher, Teacher :). Probably a higher humanitarian education also helps her to writing lyrics, she is also a poetess of the band, many of her songs are autobiographical.

    Woaaah! Its great to know our fellas here🙋🏻‍♂️💁🏻‍♀️ (besides me😆) also has a great taste of music🎶 knowing their the ones who've recommended her🤩 congratulations🥂cheers! ms.juliett💕ms.val wo-hoo🎉 anyway i'm finally back (barely) after a few weeks ago last watching👀and commenting🗯 on your reactions to Diana's wicked game🕹😊
    hmm. ..🤔the title of song is Pieces♓- two fishes, two opposite sides - one brings life, another runs for death. Great stuffs knowing she has two voices exactly represents it well. seriously i can relate to this for my zodiac sign is in between pieces and aquarius😂👍🏻for that reason i strongly have a bond to believe on the concept of ☯️
    Yessss indeed ms.juliett 🤝🏻vocal fry the vocal cords do connect which is why if done correctly it doesn't harm your voice by using proper vocal fry you should need long rest💤whereas false cord screamers may need quite rest😴 though if done right with good technique is almost 💯 safe. I even recall a University🏤study was conducted using a laryngoscope🔎 to examine why in particular metal singers don't destroy their voice over and over time using this and they've found out the vocal folds do not slap 👏🏻together or make contact in a way which is why it doesn't cause injury🤕 ( like swelling, nodules, and scar tissues or worst of all vocal paralysis) when used correctly👌🏻 On the other hand false cord screaming is very destructive💥 overtime for vocal fry is an vocal articulation which is why it produces low notes while false cord scream is constricted articulation that produces high notes. Fry vocals are often misinterpreted as screamers, which they are not 🙃
    Fry vocal=growler
    False chord =screamer
    and to support this notion 👨‍⚕️dr.Izdebski goes to explain through scientific method using very high speed camera📹(16,000 fps or frames per sec) placed under inside a singer's throat😝 he was able to find out🔎 that the vocal cords of average metal👨‍🎤👩🏻‍🎤 frontman/woman never collide which is how the damage is not created🙌🏼the images that recorded clearly showed that the produced predominately by structures above the glottis, thus the vocal cords do open and vibrate and the entire sick area (aryepiglottic and arachnoid folds) both claps and dances which basically creates vibrations in orchestration🥁🎹🎸
    Titiana is a beautiful singer she might not fit the current mainstream media taste (pop🍿haha mad joke or genre/voice) but it doesn't matter for there's always a place for such talents🌟like this to people like us who can fully appreciate the different colors and avenues that music has to offer😉 honestly i was supposed to suggest her on one of the list📑that i've submitted to ms.val😁 yet i somehow forgotten🤣(pardon me perhaps age is catching up fast😅) Thank you very much as always for sharing us vocal nerds🤓your educational reaction ms.juliett really like it really suprised me too the first time i watched this goo👻sebumps Tatiana is truly a tremendous skillful singer🎤 and the name of the band jinger lives to its liveliness for being energetic⚡
    p.s its unfortunate ms.val wasn't here🙈indeed! i totally agree😄🙌🏼 2:43 these pics L🤣L would've love to see her overall reaction🙀hahaha for i can hardly imagine the face and gesture she's making right now hehe😆✌🏼peace especially knowing this is her thing☺hihi

    Coach you are in for a treat. The girl in this video is hard to believe. I have watched people attempt to flee when she does her thing. YES, it is that powerful. But you are a pro, so you will be able to handle it. As a matter of fact you will probably understand how she does this far better than we can. I submit to you that this band is the best thing to EVER come out of what use to be the U.S.S.R.!!! That claim may make some people angry. But I do not care if they don't like it. Here we go!!!!!! Tatiana's stage presence is unmatched. I was so smitten by her that it took ages for me to figure out the three men in the band are darn good also!!
    Juliett I am new to your channel. Are you using a straw to drink your wine? To each their own.
    Keep in mind English is NOT her native language.
    The things going on in their home country are criminal. I hope the world holds Russia and Putin responsible for it.

    I couldn't figure out why the water was dribbling down over the monitor. Leaky roof or is it so hot there you must keep the screen cooled with cold water. Just a tip when you paused the video at that arabic sounding singing (at about 5:54) and then you sang a bit of it you missed the ending couple of notes that completed the tapering off of that beautiful singing. So I'd recommend going back a few seconds before restarting unless it was a clear break in the singing and any interesting instrumentals. Otherwise your reaction was well done and interesting.

      @@Juliett_Novak I was joking about keeping your puter cool with water of course hehe. I should have figured out that that was a copyright thing but it was the first time someone used water :) I just wish they allow much more videos to not get a copyright ban. You'd think they'd appreciate people making the music more popular if the review was not crude and said too many stupid things. I could be wrong as I don't know how the system works or who makes the decisions.

    No need to distort the image. The band nor the record label copyright strike their vids. They see it as free advertising.

  • @StratmanShane
    @StratmanShane Před 3 lety +1

    Hi, enjoyed the review overall, but just a couple of points of constructive criticism I hope you'll consider. First, the audio for the actual video you're reviewing would sound a lot better if you were capturing it directly, it sounds a bit thin and weak as it is.
    Second, please ditch the water filter over the video, it's distracting and doesn't really add anything "artistic" to the video. Fix those two things and you could have a very competitive channel here, everything else is excellent!
    As for Jinjer, as has already been mentioned, they're a Ukrainian band formed in 2009. Some great choices to review next to very a better feel for what the bulk of their music actually sounds like (most of it is MUCH heavier than Pisces) would include Perennial (Live from Wacken), Who Is Going To Be The One (live), Judgement and Punishment (one-take live vocal performance) and Outlander. I think you'll enjoy the journey as they're an incredible band and Tatiana is one of the most talented and versatile vocalists on the planet, male OR female. NO ONE is as good at BOTH clean and brutal vocals as Tati!
    Enjoyed the review overall, and I look forward to checking out more from your channel in the future!

    • @Juliett_Novak
      @Juliett_Novak  Před 3 lety +1

      hey !! thank you for the comment ! I'll answer point by point :
      - the rain effect has no artistic effect other than trying to block the YT algo to block the video :) otherwise we're supposed to blurr the entire video and it would be a shame :)
      - the audio is something we're working on and will need to be fixed at some point - I agree :)
      - definitely Tatiana will be here more often !
      thank you !!

    Jinjer is a good solid band across the board…Theirs other female front singers just as good, in my humble opinion…Alexis Brown has the highest octave, I’ve heard to date…You have Courtney Laplante & Melissa Bonnie…Just as good if not better in some ways…Singling out one member is unfair to the rest of the band…Imagine how Tati would sound without her band…Spiritbox is my favorite out of the Metalcore Genre…All these bands work long & hard to produce the music we enjoy & in that context, I appreciate them all…
