I'm 62 and my generation was never taught anything about these subjects.
This channel has sometimes been shocking, but I'm beginning to understand.
I'm no longer repulsed or confused about these Special People.
Now I feel empathy, respect, and kinship with these Special Kids and Adults.

Same here. I grew up in the 80s. It was like reclusive and left in the dark on purpose by society to others. The show Life Goes made a statement in the 90s. Ive been on a binge watching these videos.. and caught myself tearing up💓

Wow. I’m 12 and all the schools I’ve been to have special education classes and we’ve been taught that disabilities are just second nature. I probably would not be so content with being neurodivergent if the times haven’t changed for the better. We’re all lucky to be in this day and age, and I’m glad things have changed, and that we’re all learning :)

I just wanted to say what a beautiful and intensely emotional insight it was into Daniel's struggles. Thank you for sharing it with us.

CZcams disables SBSKs comments for some reason. It has been a battle they have been fighting to get comments back on their channel
I also came to this video to comment about Daniel's video. I instantly connected with Daniel and he's so obviously a smart, kind, fascinating guy with so much to give. I really hope he finds happiness again.
It absolutely makes no sense they block comments on videos with children and that video was 2 adults talking with each other and still no comments.
Exactly why I'm here as well. CZcams Algorithm scored a win on this one. I feel so much sympathy for Daniel it's depressing I can't reach out to him and tell him how much I admire that he went and shared his experience with us.

You can tell he's educated in communication and has spent time with special needs students. He's very careful with how he approaches things and how he will word a sentence. The first video I watched I wasn't sure what was going on, but after I started paying attention to how he handled his interaction with the kids I knew he was well versed and had good intentions. Best wishes SBSK, Ill fight with CZcams everyday to try and get your comments restored.

Not really. The majority of people here are portraying this guy as an angel. I don’t know which part of the world you people are from but his behaviour towards the disabled seems pretty normal. Most of the people I know speak would speak with such politeness etc.
In terms of importance, I would argue that the channels providing us with actual knowledge and information that could improve our level of education and productivity are much more important.
Treating the disabled with kindness should be pretty standard. But making comments like “a disability is an ability” or “specially-abled” is an absurdity. The more pressing issues we face are how we can achieve intellectual and technological progress.

Well let's face it, not everybody is empathetic to others situations. They see someone that may have a learning disability or a physical disability and they become brutal keyboard warriors and whatever it is that is bothering them within themselves they take it out on these beautiful people that he showcases on his channel. Unfortunately those negative comments have left CZcams to the decision of turning off this channels comments. Too many people out there lack the ability to "keep things to themselves" or to not say inappropriate things. It's unfortunate... but it is the world we live in... 😔
@@Wiggyam it's the internet. negative comments are everywhere. youtube blocking comments has made it difficult for fans of sbsk to interact and for people with similar conditions to have conversations and share their own experiences. Sbsk had a wholesome comment section for the most part. There are always going to be a few rotten apples. Why because of them all interaction should come at a hault? It's just simply not fair.

Pedophiles were organising themselves using the comment sections of videos with children. If CZcams started reviewing channels on a case by case basis, it would be a hundred years before they got through the last hour's worth of video uploads. What's your solution?
@@micomator There are literally hundreds of thousands of people fully committed to the protection of children and the vulnerable who would flag those comments instantly. There are so many ways that kind of material could be effectively moderated. It could be a level on Patreon where people could donate to see a professional moderation service deal with it. It could be set down as a condition of service by You Tube with reviews. Also, why the demonetisation if that's the issue? Corporations pay fortunes to get the social cache this kind of good work bestows.
BTW, the idea that pedophiles use CZcams instead of Dark Web and encrypted communication to organise is naive.

I love this genuine man and his wife, they're amazing people. I hope they'll be able to get their comment section back up and running, so we can communicate with the people he interviews. I know they needed to see and hear positive comments, which most of the people do leave. CZcams you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I have a child with GDD who is non verbal, had difficulty doing things kids his age are doing, has issues with walking, yet his big brother loves everything about him, helps him, supports him, plays with him. And I see the same thing with the children and families in the video's. It's beautiful

CZcams...what are you doing??? How can you not see that this man is doing Gods work here, and helping us all understand the daily trials and tribulations of those less fortunate. As a medical person, I already had love and empathy for others, but I still learned from these videos. Come on CZcams, this is a good man doing a great job. Help him out here and allow this man to continue his mission. 🙏😇💙
That's what I saw too! It must make him feel frustrated and angry. Hopefully he takes time out for himself to recharge his batteries. We gotta make sure that the caregivers get the care they need too.
Maybe I am mistaken but I think this guy actually geniunly likes to help people. Its not a chore or like a job for him. Its like a diagnosis but for people that are more fitting to society instead of the opposite. I don't think genuinely helping people should turn into a job. Though of course I totally agree that this guy is a really good person.

RedManPower32 No, it is CZcams! The problem when comments are disabled is that it lowers “engagement” and the algorithm is less likely to promote these videos! This means less people will find this channel.
They originally had removed the comments because they were removing comments from all channels with children as the focus...but they haven’t done it to most of the kids channels!
It is truly shocking, I try to keep up with changes CZcams makes and how it affects creators. This decision is one that I can’t wrap my head around at all, I’m also not one to jump to discrimination bias but...jeez I can’t think of any other reason!
CZcams should be promoting this channel, you would think they’d want to show this guy off to advertisers considering all the bad press they’ve gotten in the past few years...I don’t get it

i think the comment are disabled on purpose. So we and our special friends wont see the evil on some people's comments
