    I think this person overuses suzu because they have trouble aiming the ofuda. they mentioned their extremely high DPI and thats absolutely the reason why they struggle to guide the ofuda to the intended target. I'm all for having your sensitivity and dpi where its comfortable for you, but in this case, I genuinely do believe their DPI is negatively affecting their ability to heal their team. thus, they overuse suzu and don't have it when they need it, which leads to lost fights and lost games.
    there are so many times when MAYBE two or three ofuda reach their target when they want all of them to go to that target, which means people stay extremely low for a very long time. I'm not surprised they use suzu for a burst heal when they can't rely on their ability to heal with ofuda because their dpi makes it almost impossible for them to guide the ofuda unless the target is literally directly in front of them.

    • @krypto_krew2465
      @krypto_krew2465 Před 5 měsíci +5

      I agree. I have a friend that's terrible at PC but he wants to get better so he plays on a high sensitivity even though I keep telling him he's essentially just making harder on himself to get used to aiming. High DPI doesn't matter if you can't hit your shots.

    • @sethescope
      @sethescope Před 5 měsíci +2

      ALSO in case you didn't know, you can guide the ofuda to someone who is moving across your screen by following them with your crosshair. the ofuda don't travel in a straight line; they go where you aim. so if you're able to aim more precisely, you can heal people more reliably. but due to this person's DPI which limits their ability to aim precisely, they're not able to do this.

    • @sethescope
      @sethescope Před 5 měsíci +5

      @@krypto_krew2465maybe he doesn't know why lower sensitivity is good? I didn't want to lower mine for AGES because no one bothered to explain that lower sensitivity means you can aim more precisely. it's not a super intuitive idea for someone who might be new to fps games or fps games on PC. someone is way more likely to change what they're doing if they know why the change might be a good idea. also! let him know he can experiment with lowering it slowly over time. going from super high to super low is jarring and hard to handle, but going down little by little would be easier!

    • @WolfRites
      @WolfRites Před 5 měsíci +1

      I don't think their Suzu usage comes down to aim. It most likely comes down to just wanting to hit buttons, which is what Bronze to Gold does. I also don't think they know how the ofuda works. They use suzu at times where there's no need, and no one to heal. They just .. Use Suzu. Because it's up, and they feel like they have to. Also, you don't have to be extremely precise to heal. Kiri is like Ana in that sense. The heals on team mates are forgiving, while the damage is an actual hitbox.

    • @sethescope
      @sethescope Před 5 měsíci

      @@WolfRites i think they have both problems, definitely. buttons are fun to press, we can all agree on that (I played a bit of dva last night, as a support main, and man is DM a fun button to press 😅). I just happened to notice how often they would use suzu to heal someone who wasn't really that low or who WAS pretty low and who they had been trying to heal for a while.
      you may not have to SUPER precisely aim the healing, but you do have to aim it. with such a high sensitivity and dpi combo, they're struggling with being able to follow a target closely enough for the ofuda to get to the target eventually. just in case you/anyone wasn't aware, the lock on thing you see as Kiriko when you look at a teammate? that's for swift step, not the healing. you actually need to aim with your cross hair. there are SO many times throughout the video they're looking towards someone but some of the ofuda are blue and don't go to who they're looking at. that's due to this issue.
      but you are right, that is another issue they will need to work on. it's possible for one problem to have multiple contributing factors!

  • @Linaard
    @Linaard Před 5 měsíci +8

    16:44 My biggest issue with suzu here isn't that it was used during LW tree, after all the teammates weren't in it. My issue is the Kiriko only used it to clense themselves, leaving the rest of the team to possibly die to the Illiari ult, when Kiriko can self clense with swift-step, a cheaper cooldown, or just make sure to get the teammates in suzu range too.

  • @TheDuzx
    @TheDuzx Před 5 měsíci +3

    The sleeps were so bad. Especially when you had the situation where the tank was in your backline and you decide to hit a random DPS that was backing away. Hitting a tank at close range is so free because they're so fucking big. You practically can't miss. Aditionally in that situation your team is diving the squishies so you know they're probably not going to accedentaly wake up the target as opposed to the DPS you were aiming for that was in an active fire fight.
    Sleep is really good as a defensive ability if someone is diving you. Otherwise it's prefered for ults or taking the tank out off the fight for a short while so you can clean out the squishies.

    • @ienzo_ain
      @ienzo_ain Před 5 měsíci

      This might be harsh the way that I'm saying it. I believe he does indeed belong in gold but there will be a massive but I believe that he needs to dmg more and better utilize his kit then they might just be able to climb up to plat or higher. The Kiriko play is just full healbotting. It might just be that I subscribe to Awkward's philosophy but it was already painful for me to watch the first 2 mins of the Kiriko.
      1) Immediately out of spawn, they're already playing clustered up to the rest of their team. That's just asking for spam damage down lane and begging to be picked off by a cheeky burst dps shot. Take off angles/corners/high ground etc. There are 4 entrances that Kiriko could use since she can wall climb. Don't be predictable.
      2) In choke, he's full healbotting a Winston who's max hp/getting pocketed by Mercy/has a bubble/and already secured a kill on the isolated Sym, standing on the left side where he has no LoS to dps and could have wall climbed onto high ground, maybe pick a kill or 2. Use the wall climb kit that Blizzard gave you Kiriko. lol
      3) 1 min in, they break through choke, They're just healing from the ground, climb up the statue or take high ground right side to them or if they're really scared use the highground up top of mini room instead of just being in the open, that's what got them killed by Ram at 2 mins in. I did get a bit of a laugh seeing the healing ofudas being shot through even though there's an enmy Ram right in front of him probably could have been avoided if they took practically ANY of the high ground choices. lol
      4) Big glaring issue I see is the tendency to tp and then cleanse, gold mentality in a nutshell, if you're tp'ing into an active hot zone, of course you're going to be far more likely to get killed off. In that situation, cleanse and pump either heals and/or damage. Don't tp into them unless you want to get hit in crossfire.
      5) You get the idea, vid's too long to hit on all points but just based off the first 2 mins it's clear that they are in gold BECAUSE they're fully relying on their teammates to carry them to victory or loss. If your teammates belong in gold and you just enable them, that's where you will end up staying. If they damage more, secure kills more, take matters into their own hands, then they might have a good chance of being able to climb.

    I play on a 3 years old hp pavillion, with a 7 dollar headset from dollar tree and a hand me down razor basilisk mouse and I sit on the floor at a coffee table. The highest I ever got was diamond 3 and I am currently diamond 4. There is no way its the set up chief trust me, you can't let that be your excuse. Mental like that is what really holds you back, think about what you can improve on after each game. Look over your own games and think about where you could have done something better and apply that to the next match. Especially think about what ults they have or abilities to use against you each fight, call out when they use them (such as a kiriko tp or a moira fade, taking advantage of their lack of abilities in the moment). Remember to not over save important abilities but have a little patience with them too. You really don't need to be using suzu so much. All around self discipline is the key, sometimes I suzu or sleep (especially sleep) and I'm like "dang I'm rly being a silly goose rn wth was that?". You just gotta keep yourself in check because thats all you can do, you can make suggestions or try to aid your teammates but you have to know what you are doing with yourself first.
