Old Hollywood takes itself way too seriously. She should try just to laugh about it, like most of the world does. It's more funny than tragic really.
She's taking someone else's trauma seriously not her own. It's called compassion.
She's a professional. Most of the world DO laugh and joke around and play their games.... But most of the world are NOT professionals. Faye Dunaway had one goal in mind, and that was to become a Legend. Not become TMZ media trash.
Old Hollywood takes itself seriously because it's SUPPOSED to be serious and professional. You'd have to be an actor, either stage or film, to understand. The Oscars are basically just like any other production, only there's no one to yell "cut!" if you mess up. I can understand her embarrassment for what happened. Some people forget that it's NOT the actor/actress' fault if someone hands them the wrong card to read, but since they're the ones reading the cards (and messing up), the audience blames them and thinks they've ruined the show.
Professional. Bette Davis called her the most unprofessional actress she ever worked with.
Faye Dunaway is not part of the old hollywood and Faye Dunaway is known to be one of the most unprofessinoal actress in the biz at least back in her prime which is the reason why her career stalled in the late 70s.
That pristine print they found for the clips from Bonnie and Clyde was the highlight of my day.
I bet Faye was livid. An amazing actress. Her closeups in Bonnie and Clyde were the most exquisite that a director ever gave an actress.

Sadly, people believed the crazeee Movie based on the one-sided opinion of a jealou$ child. Even treacherou$ daughter "Chri$tina" said in interviews $he Disliked the movie. Histrionic & Camp---but many will "believe" it as fact.
I never understood why the critics dissed this movie. IMO she was great in it .. we all know it is a dramatization and if the portrayal was a bit over the top so was Joan Crawford.

The plastic lady knew what she was doing but she proceeded anyways taking over the gentleman on stage. And no don't worry she won't have traumatic experience. Money can fix all those problems. They got top notch psychiatrists and psychologists. She is in Bahamas sipping on her martini while you are freezing your balls and reading my comment.

She's talented as an actress but she holds on to negative things for ever it seems. She enjoyed her role in "Mommie Dearest" until she read some negative reviews about her over the top acting. Now she refuses to talk about the film even though I feel it's the only film that makes her remembered. I believe yes it was over the top, but her acting was pretty amazing in it, the Pepsi board seen was the most iconic acting have have seen in any film.
She's also remembered for "Bonnie and Clyde", "Chinatown" and "Network" ( for which she won an Oscar).
She was iconic in all her roles, especially Network. Agree, it would be good if she embraced Mommie Dearest as the cult film it has become. Similar to Susan Sarandon and Rocky Horror.

Here's 6 years ago she looks a bit odd there where the upper lip area has grown very long from the nose and yet if you look at an interview of her from 6 months ago she looks younger than she did 6 years ago and must have had some kind of work done but I don't know how they made that area in the upper lip look more youthful again like the way she used to look ... ?
Faye Dunaway....plastic surgery or no (so insignificant)....is an incredible talent. She's put her whole self into every role she's ever played. Yes, she's aged, who of us hasn't? But she's one of the few actresses who hasn't tried to re-invent herself at every turn. She doesn't seem to be afraid of getting older, rather she seems to welcome it, and I respect her so much for that. I'd like to think that Ms. Dunaway has many more years left to entertain us. She's a true Hollywood legend.

I don't know if it's her plastic surgery, or the extensive dental work she's had done on her upper teeth, but the space under her nose and above her upper lip had been stretched and pulled tremendously,..it's quite bizarre when you compare it with her older pictures. The same goes for Jamie Lee Curtis who refuses surgery and has grey hair and I've seen threads bashing her for getting old looking. Agreed though that Dunaway went way ott with the surgery.

I don't blame Faye, it was Warren Beatty who knew something was wrong and should have called a producer over or even said "i think we have the wrong card." Maybe he handed it to her to get her opinion, but again he doesn't say anything, he just passes the card. At the end of the day i do feel bad for the Moonlight winners, but there's no reason for anybody to have trauma over this... they just read the wrong name.
