For multiplayer this might not be the optimal strategy but, for singleplayer, when playing as a predator try to approach your incoming enemies while blocking but also try taking them out at range before they close the distance. Most enemy xeno's will not attack all at once. They will wait their turn while you're fighting another xenomorph. Since it's singleplayer, there will be not delay in your light attacks so don't worry about being late to counter a xeno's heavy attack. And don't Rush the fight or you might just keep hitting their block. When it comes to the predalien fight, you must use everything at your disposal. Try to mine the platforms. The predalien can trigger the mines and fall into the lava saving you the need to fight it head on and it will take some of its hp (which depends on the difficulty you play on). The spear does most damage to it from what i can tell. And you must try to either hit it first and then block or block its first attack and then strike and fall back into a block to repeat the process untill its time to get outta there when it goes for the big stomp.
