- Denver looking for revenge from last years upset by Jacksonville. Good playoff game a little closer than the final score indicated as Jacksonville had the ball with a chance to take the lead. But Denver's run game was just too much in the end. I'll be posting the rest of this playoffs season outside of the Super Bowl eventually.
Damn that Broncos O line was amazing
Despite being undersized.
Perhaps the best Denver Offensive line in team history.....
We really should have had 3 Super Bowl wins in a row.
go packkers
They weren't beating that 96 Packer squad. That team was quietly one of the most dominant super bowl winners ever. Their margin of victory and point differential were ridiculous. Even with all the injuries they had to their WRs mid season. It's like I tell my fellow Steelers fan who say we would've won the super bowl if we don't get upset by the chargers in '94. No one was beating that Niner squad.
Ahh you never know. Maybe without the first Jacksonville upset, they aren't hungry enough to win the next 2. Be satisfied with a repeat
@@TheSteelers4190
They would have matched up better than the Patriots, who were down just 27-21 in the 3rd quarter.
@@TheSteelers4190 the 49ers and Cowboys were the law of the land that year.
I remember watching this game live, this was the game that started the Broncos on the road to being back to back champions
Good to relive the glory years. Thanks for cutting the crap out.
After what happened the year before, when Jacksonville started to come back I thought “geez here we go again!” But we took that 4th qtr!!
Also notice how that camera can barely keep with Elway's throws? Strongest arm ever!!
12:01 Elway got bulldogged & knocked out cold. Stayed in the game though. Brunell and Elway were both tough ballsy QB’s. What a different era it was back then.
That's when American football was still a great game, just cannot get into it for the last 15 years or so, I hardly recognise the game today. Such a great way for Elway to end his career, after seeing him in Cleveland in 86 with THE DRIVE, all those painful defeats then to finish his career with such a great all round team. I was a Miami fan, shame Marino was never blessed with a team like Denver had in the late 90s, if Miami could not win with Marino then Elway and co were just as good .
He always went off in those playoff games in 97 and 98. The numbers he put up against the Jags Chiefs and the Broncos got their revenge at Three Rivers from a Week 15 loss. T.D. ran over the Steelers defense and in the Super Bowl in San Diego 😊.
Great times
And it was really his big game performances that got him into the HOF, cause his prime was short, yet meaningful for Elway getting those 2 Super Bowls.
@@maryakopyan3224 Elway would have never won it all without Terrell Davis.
TD put his team on his back in 97 and 98.
Denver ran for 310 yards and FIVE touchdowns.
And they did it running the old school way. From I formation, offset I, singleback, split back, weak side, and strong side formations. Not that bs modern shot gun and pistol spread garbage that modern teams run.
Truly the best Denver offensive line in the history of the Denver Broncos.
I love these condensed versions!

TD the greatest RB of all time.
The greatest Bronco RB.
For a 3yr. window, arguably.
Imagine if he were healthy for at least 4 more years with that offensive line.
@@44style1 He also benefited from what John Elway could still do, not having to see too many 7-8 man fronts.
Jacksonville had a chance in this game even after falling behind 21-0. When they managed to crawl back to make it 21-17, they just completely self-destructed.
The biggest play of the Denver Broncos season. 13:10. The Jacksonville jaguars were on the way to taking the lead but the fumble exchange recovery from the Broncos changed momentum.
any momentum gained by Jax on that punt block TD was immediately taken away by the ensuing KO return...would have been interesting to see how Denver would have responded if they had been pinned deep in their territory..im sure Bronco fans were getting uneasy
Revenge sweet revenge!!
Over 300 yards rushing in NFL game does not indicate a game that was closer than the score might make it appear.
Mike Shanahan as head coach, wins 2 superbowls. Gary Kubiak next to him, wins a superbowl as head coach also.
Excelente
Lets go broncos
Gordon giving the ball to a fan 🤘🤘🤘
The refs gave the jags a touchdown
10:20 Why does Tom Coughlin look pissed off here?
