Rivet selection is critical. AD type rivets are common. StarCraft used them on my 1969 Family 5. They are identified by the dimple on the head. You can order them through Spruce aircraft by the pound. Never use an impact hammer. It has a different stroke than a rivet gun. It generates a different frequency which can crack the rivets. Never redrive an old rivet. It has age hardened and can also crack. The hole has some form of defect or it wouldn’t be loose. Go to next size up. Put them in wet. Sealant or just a good epoxy paint. Paint works very well. It will also stop corrosion from forming between the rivet and the hull. The difference between the alloys is enough to start the process. I would suggest getting some copies of the FAA advisory circulars on riveting.

Looking good. Those solid rivets will tighten the two pieces up and won't wallow out like the pop rivets. Enjoying every video you do. Thanks...............
