This Band Is one of the most influential and amazing bands Ive even had the pleasure listening too. Nothing gets boring and Mikkel's voice makes me want to learn how to do clean vocals more.
It`s Heavy metal voice a little. The guy not sing anymore on latest albums, on "Metamorphosis". I noticed this so fast. Internet say he choose his family and left band but he start with new project which i don`t really know. Don`t need to know.

Truly one of the most unique voices in metal, fell in love with this album 13 years ago and still listen to it. Love the direction Rene has taken the band and can't wait to hear the new album, but man, Mikkel was something else.

New project called One Machine.
Mikkel is no longer with One Machine, Mikkel is now in Firesoul which also includes Mercenary's original growler and bassist Kral and Mikkel's bother Morten who used play keyboards for Mercenary, and Jacob Hansen who has produced and mixed all of Mercenary's albums on guitar. other members have yet to be announced.
Still listening in 2018 and that solo still slays :)

only reason why they dont have 20b views is that everyone owns their albums and listen to the nice quality of FLAC instead of constantly having to listen to commercials inbetween the awesomeness. how wonderful it will be when FIRESOUL comes out with their album, with Krall and Mikkel as vocals! Cause, this song definately lacks the loneliness of Kralls growls!

Pay attention to a project called firesoul with the Sandager brothers and Kral Mercenary founder(they give news from time to time on how os the creation and recording process)

@@archangelgabriel2471 Sandager is no longer vocalist in One Machine, he was indeeed in their first album Distortion of Lies, in the second album was already Chris Hawkins the vocalist, and now they have athird one. it wasn't only Mikkel leaving from the original formation just Steve Smyth and Jamie Hunt remain. When Sandager left I lost a bit of interest in One Machine to be honest ahah, but is worthy for those who didn't knew Sandager was in One Machine to check it for sure
