Some of these plays are literally so beautiful they make me cry....between all the routine fly and ground balls that can make even professional baseball tedious sometimes, its plays like these that remind us that most of these guys are incredibly talented and not your average baseball players...

If it were in the World Series it would be legendary!!... so let me get this straight,,, a right handed pitcher takes a 100 mph comeback to his throwing arm, but he picks up the ball and throws the runner out with his left hand, after which he must leave the game. That’s a total package of athleticism, high cognitive function, and improvisation,,, all in about 4 seconds.
That is LEGENDARY!!

I had spinal surgery last month, and the result of that is that I've been watching a lot of highlight videos. Most of them are the same 10 things under the same headers by people recycling content.

@@zanny3289 honestly, I started with baseball bloopers and ended up here. Seems like an Interesting game but they don't play it here on my country (India). Also been watching hockey and football videos.
Baseball players don't have to be incredibly fit. A lot are, but some positions are so much more focused on the mental aspect and the mechanics. Bartolo may be a large guy, but he is very good at the game.
European here. I only got into baseball a few years ago.
First of all, Bartolo Colón is 45 years old which is crazy shit in itself. You can tell that he still has a lot of fun out there and so it's fun to watch him play. He's famous for his horrendously bad offensive "skills", which mostly end in him either losing his helmet when he swings the bat (/watch?v=kFiEN7zSSJk) or carrying his bat with him to first base (/watch?v=NNFl74qbLzA) which is something I haven't seen anybody else do. Then again he is the oldest player ever to hit a dinger (/watch?v=OVFsq9FQBlc)
Anyway you can easily waste an hour or two just watching Bartolo highlights on here.
