Ah yes, the perfect game for Arin "I don't need to read all this log data telling me where to find things" Hanson.
Him repeatedly walking past the map update stations has me worried. I do hope he noticed that prompt when they paused their recording.
@@vigorouslethargy Him walking past pick ups and not reading terminal controls tells me that it'll either be a walkthrough handhold fest with spoiled jumpscares or a short lived romp running in circles until "I can't go anywhere! What am I supposed to do?!" before the series ends abruptly.
He feels old and sloppy, but its annoying that he's so self-aware about it, keeping it up as an act thinking that it makes for "good television".
@@fauxfawks9645 Sorta how House Party went, but the one good thing about the BSBRT is that they seem keen on finishing series so maybe they'll put the effort into this one instead of giving up, because this game fuqqin rips.
Let's be honest here, the experience of Arin frantically running away from a Xenomorph would be less exciting if he knew what to do.

i mean .. i kinda get it. usually play games more for gameplay then for plot. games with simple plots usually lend themselves for better grump interaction.
i wanna see more of them playing this game. but since they're most likely never play thru the whole campaign, and itll take at least another 2 hours before they stumble across an alien, maybe they should play the challenges instead. no plot, can be done in 30 mins, and they get alien action from minute 1
I had just watched the entire Alien movie collection before the game released, so I was already knee deep into the plot when I started playing. It was great.

@@laboon344 lol people speculating as to if they’re gonna finish this game or not, meanwhile i’m still waiting on them to deliver on completing Luigi’s Mansion 3 from Ghoul Grumps last year. and generally speaking the only playthroughs the Grumps ever actually complete are Sonic, Zelda and Mario titles. i mean if that isn’t saying something about how long this series will last then i’m not sure what to say lol.
EDIT: i know they’ve completed other playthroughs and have them in their catalogue, but i think there’s a real pattern in their completion of Sonic, Mario and Zelda games compared to basically everything else they play

The first movie was originally a "twist ending" movie in the sense that Sigourney Weaver was not a very well known actress compared to the other people in the film. The original marketing for the film and cover art avoided revealing who the main character was, so the first people to watch the movie in theaters in 1979 experienced the movie not knowing who would survive at the end. But nobody viewing the movie afterward can have the same experience as that first audience because now Sigourney Weaver is a major star, so it's much more obvious who's the main character of the movie. Maybe someday when nobody knows who Weaver is anymore, they can experience the movie the way it was originally intended.
Well, Aliens is certianly one of her most iconic movie roles.

Yea and it totally wasn't on having a forced in "girl power" moment. Her character was just smart and made the right choices throughout the movie, earning her endgame position. Just rewatched it, soo good

There is no way they will make it past a part 2, maybe 3 of this game. He lacks the patience or ability to pay attention enough that you need to really make it through the game.
Alright, to be fair, this game is dark and confusing as hell. Maybe it's just for fools like me, but Arin and I aren't alone is all I'm saying!

Ryan I agree. This game really requires a lot and takes a lot out of you. I know. I played this game a year after it came out and I STILL haven't beaten it. It is a FREAKING hard game. There is no way Arin will make it through this game. It is too stressful and complicated. If it turns out I'm wrong I will update this post.
Actually I wish he would take these kinds of games more seriously, or rather I wish he'd pay more attention in games like this. Some games you can just whizz through without much of a second thought, which is fine. However with games like this, they require your full attention.

I love the grumps and have done for years now... but i wish Arin would play this game in full and in the correct manner lol. Honestly the game isn’t hard if you pay attention. The NPC’s have pretty bad AI, so it’s easy to avoid them.

Pretty sure it's because Danganronpa is a visual novel, so they literally can't skip over stuff and need to read it out loud for us, and then add in their commentary. I'm surprised they didn't meet the Alien, though, with how Arin likes to rush through things... probably how the game was programmed xD
Dan’s passion and knowledge of Alien is amazing.
This has the potential to be teeth-grindingly hard to watch Arin "Barely Looks at the Screen" Hanson play through, but as long as Dan keeps him on track with a walkthrough, I can see this being an amazing series.

This is actually an excellent game. An issue I've got is that so much media has an underlying political message. Now-- sometimes that's okay. I just don't like it when it's hamhanded and clashes with the rest of the game
Not so with this game. It is EXACTLY what it's supposed to be, spine-chilling, heart-pounding horror. I hated and loved every second of it.
Ya know, I gotta say that out of all the ways this playthrough could have started, I never would have guessed that "Shitting on the notorious Disney flop 'Home on the Range" would be it.

Based on how Arin is just running around everywhere haphazardly, he's gonna get killed so many times... XD
I'm also a little concerned because at the end it sounds like he only wants to play until the Alien appears and move on to something else. I really hope he plays through the whole game because it's a none stop trill ride of scares.

Yeah...you have about a 0.7% chance he’s gunna make it through the whole game. He’s got the attention span on a cracked out toddler.
I spent probably 95% of this playthrough crouched as to not alert the Alien. Danny should've stressed to Arin about the adaptive AI this game implements so that he's actually thinking about it... it would make for a proper playthrough.
I love whenever we get updates on Dan watching Disney movies, I'm glad he liked Lilo and Stitch. I'd like to know what he thought of Brother Bear
Brother Bear was a great movie that Brave ripped off.
Honestly this game is so amazing and I think y’all would love to play it! I would love to watch a whole series!!! Unfortunately it is very heavy in slow build tension and lots of reading notes for lore. If that’s not something Arin and Dan are feeling then it might not be super fun to play, or they may want to pick it up later. Love you guys, thanks for doing ghoul grumps!!
