It's not even ludicrous, he's spitting facts. Russo isn't there to placate to the younger audience who want to be told their era is the greatest, since the Warriors dynasty there is no all time great team that has emerged. You have to at least win multiple championships and make it to 3+ Finals to even be in the discussion. These Warriors are still trying to figure out how to win with this group, they're incomplete without a center. The Suns, 76ers, Nets, Bucks, they're all in the and the Bucks have the best chance to establish themselves historically but they have to get to the Finals at least 2x more times and win at least another championship just to begin the conversation - and they'd be near the bottom of the list.

Does anyone think Connaughton is anything more than a marginal talent? If you look at "great teams" every position has a really talented player. Let's look at the late sixties/ seventies Knicks. Four of the five starters are in the top 75 players. Reed, Frazier, DeBuscherre and Monroe. Bradley is a HOF and was the best player in college in 1965. He scored 58 points in the 1965 NCAA's and held the record for years. If you read "breaks of the game" Jack Ramsey said if you didn't stop Bradley you would lose to the Knicks. This HOF team centered their offense around Bradley moving without the ball. This is the "fifth guy on the team. Connaughton is a scrub compared to Bradley. Look at the "86 Celtics. Bird, McHale and Parrish up front. DJ and Ainge in the backcourt and Walton coming off the bench. This is what great teams looks like.
